Ok. Then can someone see if they can replicate it, along with the steps needed Oh. Duh. Looking at the code, I don't think I copied it properly. Let me see if I can get a new version out

A forum user, @paulprogart, wrote this nice mod to customize the loading screen. I also contributed a lot of code to it to provide it with a settings page. For some reason, he decided to pull the mod. If there was an explanation, it doesn't exist any more. The license allows me to revive it. I've tried to contact him, no response. So, even though he would prefer not, I am reviving this now. The mod is incredibly useful and fun. Original thread is here: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/156064-122-loadingscreenmanager-v110-show-your-own-images-while-ksp-loads/ LoadingScreenManager (LSM) is a simple plugin for KSP 1.3 that will show a slideshow of custom images while KSP loads, and also allows customizing the "witty loading tips" shown during loading. Note regarding 1.4.x The toolbar seems to be instantiated a bit later in the game, so the toolbar button is NOT visible when first getting to the Main Menu. Simply get into a game scene and then exit back to the MainMenu, and the toolbar button will be there in the upper right of the screen. New Features 1.2.3 Added logoScreen config value Added logoTip config value Added ability to read multiple config files The mod now reads all config files in the LoadingScreenManager/PluginData directory. Only files in the LoadingScreenManager/PluginData directory will be read for these config files. The primary one is the LoadingScreenManager.cfg, other mods can add their own files. The additional files can contain the same values as the primary one. The following fields, if present in the additional config files, override the standard config file: displayTime fadeInTime fadeOutTime tipTime includeOriginalTips neverShowAgain The logoScreen, logoTip and FOLDER sections are used as is. They do not override, but are used alongside any others. Features (v1.02) Show your own images while KSP loads (PNG or JPG formats, any size) Show multiple random images during loading as a slideshow Configure multiple folders within the KSP install directory (defaults to Screenshots folder) Use custom file masks (e.g. *.jpg, *.png) and optionally include files in subdirectories Customize the time each image shows for as well as the transition fade times Optionally include the default loading images in the slideshow Eliminate possible repeats Customize the length each "witty loading tip" shows for Add your own loading tips (with option to keep/discard defaults) BONUS: Will dump all the tips to the log if you really want to see them all In-Game configuration screen (no need to edit config files) Source Code: https://github.com/linuxgurugamer/KSPLoadingScreenManager Download:https://spacedock.info/mod/1422/LoadingScreenManager License: CC-BY-NC-SA-4.0

Ok. I'm waiting for confirmation, but it appears in a test that this fixes it. Once someone else confirms, I'll upload a new release @Foxster @Aelfhe1m @Gordon Dry @billkerbinsky Pinging you because I realized that I didn't. https://www.dropbox.com/s/zztj8ejdktcz6md/RCSBuildAidSkinFixBeta2.zip?dl=0 seems to fix it, but since I didn't see it NOT working, I can't be sure.

Oh, I may have uploaded the wrong files Will check in a minute Sorry, I uploaded the wrong files. These are correct: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zztj8ejdktcz6md/RCSBuildAidSkinFixBeta2.zip?dl=0 Working remote on a busy day, sorry about that. Please note, this was compiled for 1.3

Fewest Solid Motors to the Mun
linuxgurugamer replied to sevenperforce's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
It sounds like a fun challenge if I get some time I'll probably stop make an attempt. But, I think I'll create another challenge which will be the same thing only no reaction wheels only monoprop for control and see, but I'll hold off on that for a few days -
Fewest Solid Motors to the Mun
linuxgurugamer replied to sevenperforce's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
So put a limit as to how much monoprop you carry. And, it's possible to position RCS thrusters so they only go sideways. And besides, most of these are on the honor system anyway I'd rather carry monoprop than batteries, solar panels, etc -

Why no RCS? Why not RCS to be used for orientation only? Frankly, I'm not using reaction wheels anymore, they are too OP -
You are correct, and I've come up with a fix (I think). I'm waiting for someone to confirm (I'm at work, can't really start up KSP right now) Putting link here in case anyone want to try it, but I'm watching the RCS BuildAid thread about this. https://www.dropbox.com/s/6ebvryoohq7rcxh/RCSBuildAidBetaSkinFix.zip?dl=0 FYI. The author is not available, so this is mostly an unofficial build, although I think he is aware of my efforts.

I haven't had a chance to test, but this should fix it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6ebvryoohq7rcxh/RCSBuildAidBetaSkinFix.zip?dl=0 Just replace the DLLs with these, and let me know how it is.

I'm convinced. I'll take a look at it later
-
First,I would consider that a Mechjeb bug. Mechjeb is not wrapping text. Second, what version of KSP, what version of Mechjeb, what version of RCSBuildaid, etc. Log file as well.

It isn't this, at least I don't think so. But it might be Janitor's Closet. Do you have that installed?

KSP1 Computer Building/Buying Megathread
linuxgurugamer replied to Leonov's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I'd make sure the new motherboard can take up to 32 gig of memory. Be able to keep more in memory will become more important over time. My system has 32 gig memory and I still run out. -
Actually, according to wikapedia: The YF-12 was a twin-seat version of the secret single-seat Lockheed A-12 reconnaissance aircraft, which led to the U.S. Air Force's Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird twin-seat reconnaissance variant.

linuxgurugamer replied to linuxgurugamer's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Those brackets and parens are not meant to be matching, they are used for the search algorithm. I'll watch for your video in about an hour or so when I get home. -

Nothing significant changed, can you post a video? Also, are you using autostrutting? -

linuxgurugamer replied to xytovl's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
you can't do anything about the first post. If I do, it won't be before the weekend, I'll let you know. I can do the update on CKAN, so you won't need to do anything -
Log file, please Also, how did you install it? What version of KSP, and what version of the mod?

Just an FYI, the author has stated he isn't playing KSP anymore and wouldn't mind if someone else took this over. So, I may do that over the weekend. LGG
