    Looks like feasting on various kinds of cake has a positive effect on the subjective impression being a good KSP player. I remember seeing a cake in the KSP promovideos.... and a Kerbonaut mashing his helmet into it. So what is your conclusion so far, @rockets-don't-make-toast?

    Jeb and the rest of the orange suit bunch made a short trip to the island, clearly in style with a new Kertonov-124... Jeb has so much fun, he turns to late for approach...: Bill, Bob and Valentina are not much amused...: "...JeeeEEEEEEBBBBBB!!!!!..." "...Hey Jeb, you just crashed turbofan number four into the basement leftovers...!!!!" Jeb responded quite calm and relaxed."...Do not talk to the pilot during touchdown..." "Turbofan number four...? I see no turbofan."

    errm. i have one or another dire question to @Frybert, there is a thing that bugs me since a long time... Each time when i spot your appearance in a random thread, wiping posts and guiding us forummembers back to order and shape...- i get the chills. And i find myself staring for a while at your Nixon avatar until my chickenskin on my neck disappears... Commonly the next posts in your newly purged threads take a significant time to emerge, if any at all. I feel the moment has come to face my fears and ask you directly: 1. Are you evil? 2. Do you like cake?

    I came around now to read through the last few pages, your story and careerdepiction has so much Kerbalness like very few other threads in this forum i`ve seen a least... hearttouching chars and excellent make-up of the visuals, not only to speak of a real astonishing style of stockpart engineering performance... This is a must see in this forum in my opinion... 10/10 Keep it cool @Parkaboy, glad you can work time to time on this gem... Cheers

    My Kerbals construct silly things when nobody is looking at them. Maybe better so... The lack of seriousness in my Space program concerns me more and more. Jeb should also be concerned about the fact that personal parachutes are still in shipping... But when i do look at my Kerbals at work it seems as they have become quite nifty at space things:

    Having the root part on your rocket should make it safe to decouple and commence orbit insertion.... The plane might get lost after leaving physics range of the focused vessel.

    I`ve never seriously tried to land on Eve with Kerbals. And Moho too. There a lots of things to do still for me.

    I can confirm that Laythe`s "solid" soil behaves like fine volcanic ash, i remember once getting my lander stuck as if the beach was made out of quicksand. Scary moment looking at the tilted vessel.
