@Kuzzter, how does your avatar's hat fit in the helmet when he goes EVA? And I thought Captain Kuzz (Emiko reference) would wear a pirate captain's hat...

Actually, Carl Sagan's thesis (I think) was on terraforming Venus, and he proved it to be ridiculously difficult, even by terraforming standards.
-
Settling Mars makes sense... It's the closest planet to Earth that's not hell (seriously, Venus? Why?), it has plenty of resources, and terraforming it (although still insanely difficult) would be easier than any other planet.
-
Why don't they visit Vallhenge? Intrepid's orbital sensors would surely have detected an anomaly...

Been reading this thread for a long time, first time posting on it, but it's an amazing story! Loving Emiko's time on Earth.

-Story - Part 7- Bob floated into the main computer room, grabbing a handrail as he entered. "MechJeb, do you have the ISRU unit landing coordinates and kOS script?" "Yep, Bill programmed it and the geeks back at KSC can't find anything wrong." "Ok, hang on." Bob opened a drawer labeled FLOPPY DISKS and picked out a random one, which happened to be green. He went to MechJeb's access ports. "MechJeb, anything important on the floppy disk in the port?" "Nothing I can't temporarily run on my own memory." "Ok, I just need to take it out for a sec." Bob pressed the button on the floppy port marked OPEN/EJECT, and the humming of electronics got a little bit quieter as the floppy disk's cooling fans turned off. A few seconds later, the floppy slid out of the slot and floated in the room. Bob slid in the new disk and pressed READ. The hum returned to normal. "MechJeb, copy the script and coordinates into the new floppy." After the stuff had been copied, Bob ejected the new disk and replaced the old. He floated into the ISRU unit's tiny temporary control room, located in the disposable skycrane. After copying the contents of the disk, he brought it back to MechJeb, who cleared the disk's memory. He put back the now-empty disk into the floppy drawer, floating out of the computer room back to the few quarters. --Note: The "floppy disks" are actually advanced quantum information storage devices, but they were made to look the same as the floppy disks currently being used on Kerbin when they were first made, to avoid confusion. The name and appearance stuck--

Whispers of the Kraken (Epilogue: Revelations of the Kraken)

If Val punches the artifact in the face, we will be forced to conclude that she and Edgas were twins separated at birth. -
So, both Kerbalism and TAC add realistic life support and Kerbalism adds other stuff, too, but Kerbalism doesn't have one aspect of real life support: It doesn't include water. And TAC doesn't include morale and failures and stuff. So I thought I should make a mod that has ALL features of real life/morale support, and I will make it if you guys want. Planned Features: -To stay alive, Kerbals need Snacks, Water, and Oxygen. -Kerbals produce Carbon Dioxide, "Number One", and "Number Two". -Kerbals need to be kept happy: give them Wi-Fi and Skype with their families/friends back on Kerbin to keep them happy. -Kerbals need to be physically fit to do EVAs and other dangerous tasks, long periods in Zero-Gee will reduce their fitness. -Parts/Modules to give them all of their needs Planned Parts: -CO2 Scrubber: Removes Carbon Dioxide from the internal atmosphere, but does not produce Oxygen. -Water Purifier: Filters out clean water from "Number One". -Hydroponics: Takes a Fertilizer resource and produces a Crops resource. Plants growing in Hydroponics will convert Carbon Dioxide into Oxygen as they perform photosynthesis. -Composter: Composts "Number Two" into Fertilizer. -Centrifuge: Provides artificial gravity to crew. -Zero-Gee Gym: Kerbals in Zero-Gee can exercise here. -Ultra-Fast Antenna: Gives Kerbals Internet and Skype connections, but cannot be used to transmit Science. -Kitchen: Any Kerbal can cook Crops into Snacks here. -Space Toilet: You know...

@HatBat Would love to submit some crafts! Tell me what kind you need/want.

The Voyager spacecraft are really amazing, so I thought I'd make a discussion thread. Also, I have a few questions: Is the equipment heated by the RTG, or are there separate heaters? How do pictures of moons and stuff turn out not blurred, if you need long exposure times to compensate for the dimness of the outer Solar System? How are they still working after 35+ years in space with no maintenance?

Nothing new to report, as the Kraken keeps crashing my game before I get anything done. I will fix it, though!

Here it is! Camwise Logs Mars Mission Patch I didn't call it the ship name, because the comsats & stuff are part of the mission, too. -
Thx. A mod may lock this thread now.
-
Yep, but we will update to 1.2 when it comes out of the prerelease.
-
Updating OP, and DMP is super-glitchy, so no. Eve is a good choice (Karborundum Monopoly, Gilly's low gravity would make it an amazing shipyard) If you want to start designing your crafts, some essential mods that will be in the mod list are: B9 Aerospace Burn Together LackLuster Labs and LLL-Extras BDArmory MechJeb KER MechJeb & KER For All BDA add-on: Near-Future Weaponry KSPI-E Kerbal Foundaries (Parts broken as of 1.1, but should be fixed in 1.2) Since you are Quark Korporation, your craft names should be: QK - [Insert Craft Name Here]

Yeah, of course! I don't know how to embed it, though, and imgur isn't working for me now, so I'll try to upload it! -

I love this Mission Report! How's Fontanes One doing? -
Without using imgur, how do you embed an image in the forums?
