    Im saving up to build a 1400 dollar gaming monster! Should have all the money by the end of the summer. Right now im on a 700 dollar ASUS I got in Early 2014 and its using late 2012 early 2013 hardware. It is holding up pretty well. It will probably be too weak in the next year or 2 to be considered a "Gaming PC" I don't really play the latest games, and the newest games I have aren't very demanding.

    10 year old laptop? I think its time for an upgrade. You can find some 400-500 dollar computers out there that will be able to run KSP pretty well. I used to run KSP on a 400 dollar Acer from early 2012 using 2011 hardware until about 2 years ago.

    I remember the days where it took stock KSP a good 10 minutes to load. And a good 15-20 minutes with lots of mods. Then they did an update and drastically improved loading times with it, I don't remember what update it was. maybe .21-.23?

    I have an AMD FX 8300 eight core running 3.5+ GHZ when I overclock it when I play. so its not a processor problem. Its not a RAM problem. I have 12 gigs of DDR3. So it must be a harddrive thing :P. Thats what its stored on afterall.

    I have 12 GB of DDR3 RAM. My specs arent horrible, but its not a monster PC running an high power I7 with a GTX 980ti

    I don't know if this belongs here but.... Will KSP load faster on an SSD? With 90+ mods installed for KSP RO it takes ~10 minutes for KSP to load up. And it is really annoying if the game crashes or something and I don't have a chance to save whatever im building and then I have to launch the whole game again and go do something else while it loads. I might just buy a small little SSD to put KSP by itself on.

    Mechjeb is very hard to get right in RO as its ascent guidance is designed for Kerbin where less burning needs to happen and the atmosphere and planet is nowhere near as big.

    Ok so here is what happened. The originality wore off. It is the same deal with minecraft for me. I played minecraft so much, but today, I just get bored if I play it and I dont have the same feeling as I used to. You will never have the same feeling twice. AKA Nostalgia. You are longing for the past. But you can never have the past back. This is why Im enjoying RSS/RO so much, because its new, new places to go and explore, brand new ways of doing so.

    No I don't really like that lol. Its a random bug right now that causes stuff to veer off course. I wanted to keep the satellite up there for a long time so I could send kiddies on field trips to the satellite for a history lesson!
