  1. You're a cheater because you posted in this thread.
  2. Rule 26: All posts must consist of at least six words.
  3. Woo, free console keys! I wonder what-- Aww, come on! And I didn't see this until now?? Guess I should check this subforum more often, then...
  4. Here's mine, from the demo sometime in early-ish 2014: I already knew how to orbit pretty well by then, by the looks of that rocket. Although, I can see from that pic that that particular launch probably involved a hilarious catastrophic disaster...
  5. Look at letters, memorize every possible combination of letters, then pick out which ones are words. Write all of them on pieces of paper, put them in a hat, and draw words at random until you get the one you want. Once you have all the words you want, put them together in a random order repeatedly until you have a coherent sentence. Repeat. Is it safe to drink molten salt?
  6. 5/10. Not too hard to figure out that it's B. The sum of all positive integers is -1/12.
  7. Well, my Rubik's cube seems to assign one of those two to each docked node at random, even in 1.0.5. The only noticeable difference is that "decouple node" can be done to either port, but "undock" can only be done to one of the two. There's probably some stuff that happens to the focus, but I've never systematically checked what it is.
  8. 10000. Rules must be numbered in binary.
  9. Granted, you accelerate suddenly to 0.9999999999999 c. You are no longer at work, or on this planet! I wish for dark chocolate that isn't radioactive.
  10. Because the people who invented the alphabet were not engineers. oh right, it's supposed to be a joke answer, not a serious one. *ahem* Because 'Q' doesn't actually have a sound of its own. I changed a text file into a folder so that I could put images of ASCII art in it and now I can't read it. Help!
  11. Banned for wanting me to do something.
  12. Yes you did, and I showed the proof above! But I can't tell you that because this thread is locked.
  13. RO means a lot of new stuff to learn about, fail repeatedly, and learn some more. It also generally means a lot longer loading time. I've sorta kinda not really started playing with RO recently (my computer won't let me enjoy it though, so I haven't been playing much of anything on it lately) and I think it'll be a lot of fun once I fix the blue screens. If you're looking for new, complex systems to master, RO has all sorts of stuff like ullage, unthrottleable engines, a plethora of different fuel types, and more. The larger systems aren't really much more of a challenge, they just mean your burns will be much longer. Expect 8-10 minutes to reach orbital velocity around Earth, for instance. It seems like the stuff in RO is what you want. You can ease into some of the mechanics in the Kerbal system beforehand, though, such as life support and antenna relays. All the stuff in RO is a lot to take in at once, but it can be very rewarding.
  14. Granted, but it was just a loud speaker. No explosion for you! I wish I could shoot lasers out of my eyes with enough power to fry insects and/or insect-sized drones instantly.
  15. No, that was the ghost of my Jedi master speaking to you. Waiter, there's a soup in my soup in my soup in my soup in my fly in my soup!
  16. Hey, didn't you already post that meme earlier?
  17. Go get a degree, then go fly some planes, then go to space. You can do it!
  18. Just wait until Duna is about 45 degrees ahead of Kerbin in it's orbit around the sun, then do your burn. You're pretty much guaranteed to get close enough. Set Duna as your target beforehand so that you know where your closest approach is. I think I made a professional MS Paint illustration on this for a different thread... *rummages through "Random pictures" folder* ...Here it is! This will save you literal metric tons of delta-V: http://i.imgur.com/Ct8wrdD.png You'll probably want to enlarge that image a bit to see the explanations.
  19. Then shouldn't it be raining 5D bookshelves outside?
  20. Not before all the elephants are dead, unfortunately. It is probably possible, though, considering we've already done things like artificial beating hearts.
  21. No, those are Daleks. You're still screwed. Waiter, there's a Petaminx in my soup! And it's scrambled!
