  1. I want so badly to respond to this with a meme. But I must keep my Spock face on.
  2. @SupperRobin6394 Yep. In a few hours. Thanks for alerting me.
  3. No. It only needs one antenna. Maybe two. Also, thanks for the data. It's greatly appreciated. I must check out some of these for myself.
  4. @The-Doctor A revamp is coming. It's unreleased and there's no open beta (yet?).
  5. Click on the red link in @Galileo signature please. Semi-synchronous? No. That kind of thing would be nice to have, as you mention it.
  6. @linuxgurugamer No prob. It's going to be a few weeks anyway. The update concerns something very big.
  7. @linuxgurugamer Sure. I have an update coming (more than just a version bump). I can roll your request into it.
  8. Today I finished developing a science rover. It uses 4x 0.625m Karbonite rockets for VTOL to jump into the claw on its carrier plane, and powerful air RCS to maneuver while jumping but remain mass efficient versus using MonoPropellant RCS and carrying a bucket of MonoPropellant. I don't know how to use the KAS winch and I haven't unlocked it yet. Its carrier plane. Already well-developed, comes in the primary Karbonite fueled version that cruises at Mach 2.5 and can never run dry, and a LiquidFuel version that does Mach 5 and is upgradeable to SSTO... But ISRU aren't unlocked yet and there's currently not enough spare points to do anything useful. Deep Sky's intrepid pioneers have done the first manned mission to Low Gael Orbit. Now they're about to travel the world and send back science from places they may not yet know exist under their sky. ^ This is an unmanned test flight with the rover safely stowed.
  9. @linuxgurugamer CRP has Supplies (USI) and Food (TAC) but their densities and costs are much lower and very different. RESOURCE_DEFINITION { name = Food displayName = #LOC_CRP_Food_DisplayName density = 0.00028102905982906 hsp = 600 // specific heat capacity (kJ/tonne-K as units) // FIXME total guess flowMode = ALL_VESSEL transfer = PUMP isTweakable = true isVisible = true unitCost = 0.238874700854701 volume = 1 ksparpicon = TriggerTech/KSPAlternateResourcePanel/Icons/Food } RESOURCE_DEFINITION { name = Supplies displayName = #LOC_CRP_Supplies_DisplayName density = 0.001 flowMode = ALL_VESSEL transfer = PUMP unitCost = 2.5 isTweakable = true volume = 1 ksparpicon = TriggerTech/KSPAlternateResourcePanel/Icons/Supplies }
  10. @AndrewDrawsPrettyPictures Yep. GPP_Secondary does that indeed. It makes GPP into an end-game destination instead of the home system, and the huge distance is to ensure hat it doesn't clash with any of the many small star system mods out there or any of the Kerbal Star Systems™. What Galileo said is also correct. GPP_Secondary does its job best in enabling GPP to coexist with planet and star mods that also replace Kerbin and the stock planets.
  11. Please read back some in this thread. This mod is currently broken. Please @RealGecko let us know if you intend to fix this one or if you've abandoned it and if anyone is welcome to "continue" it.
  12. If you have the craft file and a KerbalX account, upload your file to KerbalX just long enough so you can read the part list and used mods list from there. @AndrewDrawsPrettyPictures If your planet mod only adds Valentine and its worlds then no major effort on your part should be needed for GPP compatibility. Jet set Valentine to have perhaps 5 or 6 Tm for its SMA (or at least 4 Tm periapsis) for good clearance from Grannus, and invest in getting Extrasolar to load after GPP. Currently GPP purges any planet mod whose name starts alphabetically before itself.
  13. I sure hope this SSTO is well-prepared........... Planet modders generally don't prepare for their planets to be used by gameplay mods like TAC, MKS, Kerbalism and so on, so the configs for these typically don't exist. It's safe to say that this aspect of things is left to the gameplay mod's dev. Even then, the gameplay mods that make use of Water typically don't provide a Water drill/pump, yet they'll provide parts for doing everything under the Sun with Water. I think only MKS, Karbonite (and just maybe KSPI-E) have one. It's easy to roll your own Water drill/pump by just copying two little modules from Karbonite's own and make some tiny changes to the copy. We speak of it now.
  14. @CatastrophicFailure Sorry, bud. I will. It'll be a pleasure to show you.
  15. @Gilph Can you do an ultra-low flyby and avoid its atmo by a hair's width? - - - - I felt like showing off for the heck of it. So I built this just to wave the Gael/Niven flag around and shine lots of lights. Practical wise, this can cruise at Mach 2 and has a Buffalo rover inside. (No spaceplane engines have been unlocked yet so no blistering speed can be promised. ) And in pure, wicked hope that I can disorient some people, I mean this crazy idea came to mind; to get a screenshot at this funky angle of 4 Gaeleans returning from the first ever manned mission: science ops in Low Gael Orbit.
  16. I finally launched a manned science ship to orbit to meet with the station core and get some science churning done, Wild Blue style. I never thought I'd be comfortable making serious use of MonoPropellant engines (due to their Isp range) but here I am. About 1km/s dV on the pod and happy sailing.
  17. @AR3S_TGL Please delete that, and never post huge texts of any sort onto the forum. You're basically putting chewing gum into the machinery by doing so.
  18. I did not consider gas planets. This mod's engines aren't tuned to help you skim (or survive at all) a gas planet. That's covered in the spoiler. Here's hoping the M2X dev actually considers an insane high atm like that Venus analog. Skipping the "temporary solution" as you stated.
  19. @SuicidalInsanity Tellumo of GPP is a great option for setting the standard at. It has 10 atmospheres ASL. (Surprisingly, Titanus of New Horizons only reaches 7.6)
  20. Easy. There's either a BZ-2 radial attachment part, a Modular Girder or Cubic Strut behind each of them.
