  1. Added Grannus to the GitHub wiki. https://github.com/Galileo88/Galileos-Planet-Pack/wiki/Grannus Warning. Contains spoilers.
  2. Thalia's getting a chill pill. Aaaaaand screenshot time. Featuring Rocket Kerman and a USI warp drive. Put them in a zip file, upload that zip file to some cloud storage service then use that service to create a shareable link, then paste that link here.
  3. Timewarp before things explode and before you change scenes. It accelerates cooldown and prevents the likelihood that your craft may persist on rails ready to explode. You my also have not packed enough radiator. That ship looks like a bit much for those things and I see a lot of parts with heat tolerance < 2000K
  4. You won't be disappointed. Hah. There's another mountain that's a few hairs shy of Mount Cilos as the highest point on Gael. It's Mount Iodos: 6115m tall, 25.91019 N, -60.12251 E Contract Compatibility A preliminary list has been added to the opening post at the GPP Workshop. Suggestions are welcome for whether this list should be its own comment within the thread and linked from the OP if being in there makes it feel cluttered, or even its own thread if there's anticipation that this list will get very large.
  5. @cratercracker Those are fabulous. But that's not Augustus. That's Gratian.....Augustus is golden and has no ice caps. Hadrian is also not a parent body, so it's unworthy to be called "Hadrian system"
  6. The reason everyone asks you to draw in GIMP or Photoshop is (ignoring that you would end up taking much longer in them) is that then you could produce flags with incredible detail, with realism, and with tons more appeal. And then you could draw things other than flags which would look as awesome. Sorry for provoking you. We ask because we want to see you become even better as a flag maker and overall visual artist. I'm also sorry for the extreme insomnia you have to deal with.
  7. Heck yessss! @jackstech I saw this and really liked it. What are you using for nose cones on the float devices?
  8. @cratercracker Yep. Amazing stock flags. But how many hundreds of times better would they look if you knew GIMP or Photoshop? You should sleep, though, before starting anything at all. That's really not good for the brain and most other things. And one other tip. Make your flags to fit the aspect ratio of in-game flags (256x160). They can still be large and high detail like 512x320 or 1024x640 but the details won't show well on the usually tiny flag areas on parts.
  9. It's very easy to add your own flags. All it requires is a new Flags folder in GameData to contain the images but it would technically count as a mod and would be a separate thing to ZIP and pass around. Maybe "CommunitySpaceStation\Flags\" if the local council accepts.
  10. As a fellow flag maker I'd be intrigued to see what you come up with. As part of the GPP team I'd be honored too. You have some amazing flags for the stock planets.
  11. @CatastrophicFailure o _õ Hold on, hold on....let me get my pants. @electricpants
  12. Oooooh. I thought your engine used the model of the Rhino or Mainsail since that's what's attached to your DSEV in your screenshots. I know what to do to possibly fix that problem. The stock Nuke is known to have abyssmal joint strength so your buff provokes that weakness. Add breakingForce and breakingTorque to the engine's config with reasonable numbers. @EricL Save this somewhere in your GameData then delete it when the next KSS update comes. If it's not enough, bump the numbers. 2000 should be a good maximum. @PART[PlasmaEngine] { %breakingForce = 1200 %breakingTorque = 1200 }
  13. I'd like to know what mod buffs that engine. Your situation is most curious,
  14. I'd like to humbly request this be renamed to Gameslinx's Planet Overhaul. It collides very easily with Galileo's Planet Pack when called by its initials. It is also in fact an overhaul as it modifies some stock worlds.
  15. Well okay then. But there's nothing we can do to help you until you give us something to analyze @KerbolExplorer
  16. Finally had some time for KSP last night. Jebediah got to do some proofing on a new top secret concept flagship for Deep Sky. Really, all he had to do was confirm whether crew will exit the cabin holding those ladders or falling on their faces. He came out upside-down but on the ladder so celebratory cookies were unwrapped and munched. Of course, they let him fly it (for better or worse) and he happened to reveal the ship's stress limits in 1atm, 1g. He got the ship to pop and rain giant shrapnel all over a tiny island..... They ponder whether it's worth it then, to simulate at a certain blue or purple planet with > 1 atm or > 1g.
  17. I couldn't help but notice your activity in the thread of Gameslinx's planets at the time of your query here. Are you trying to mix GPP and GPO? That's quite possibly the problem. Your KSP must be crashing because it doesn't know what to do with Gameslinx's planets after it loads GPP. GPP is not friendly to planet mods that add to the stock system.
  18. On that note why is AsteroidScannerSetup.cfg an empty file? Is this why the Surface Scanner doesn't work on asteroids?
  19. If you have a Dropbox or pastebin, copy the contents of KSP\KSP_x64_Data\output_log.txt into that and share it. There are a lot of people out there with even more mods installed than Scott Manley and they do just fine...
  20. Does your PC have more than 8GB of RAM? Did you follow the install instructions? Can you give a clue as to what's causing or related to your problem?
  21. Actually, yes... I hadn't thought about that. But, I repeat, these lakes/seas shouldn't be all connected. They should be like a few wide, deep craters with lakes and not an actual canyon playground. I don't intend for you to clearly copy that planet.
