landing at the space center is rather easy honestly once you got the timing now, this doesnt require math or much thinking and doesnt need much engine power. okay first thing we want to do is zero out inclination and have orbit no higher than 100k, any higher and we may over shoot due from lack of drag. we want to start the burn right about here, it may help to place an object to reference at the end of the run way somewhere it wont get smashed into. we bring our line over the runway but not past the island with the older KSC as we come down we will bleed off any excess speed just by coming into the atmosphere this pod has a bit of flight capability so i can turn it around and precise land it, but its all the same regardless of spaceship or plane. and thats all there is to it. its will take a small bit of practice to get the burn correct for the crafts you use depending how much drag is causes but this is a solid way to get your space crafts in the area of the space center. hope this helps as ive seen many people say they dont know how to go about landing at the space center.

i was bored and sent a probe to leave the solar system, clicked time warp from behind kerblin and when it stopped.....well....... i think i broke my save as this is the 2nd time today time warp has thrown me into random orbits lol

Why is my Spaceplane Overheating?
invision replied to Zeiss Ikon's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
okay so i made a small plane and placed the little heat shield under the crew cabin l use the mun so we have way more speed then needed to blow us up i clicked radial out, the craft struggled to stay still as the atmosphere meets the wings ( use reaction wheels for stability ) after that single pass we killed off a bunch of speed and we can just repeat this using no fuel what so ever until kerblin pulls you in or you can retrograde and use fuel for precise landing -
Why is my Spaceplane Overheating?

i found the best way to kill velocity with space planes is using radial out on SAS options this will flip your plane upright causing the wings drag really hard below you as it enters the atmosphere. try it yourself you may be very surprised how fast you can kill your speed. then go manual once speed is killed. -
due to the success of the Kerbal SP-1 the kerbals wanted more.... introducing the SP-2 S for space P for plane but now room for 2

you can jam anything into fairings and fly it like a boss

i want a barn , it go great with my ghetto series rockets.

yep you could go out into interstellar with it easily
-
id love this. but just make sure the comet is big enough its doesnt feel like landing on an asteroid
-
ive built the same rocket and found its so powerful you could leave the universe lol
