Oh... no. no no no no no. One of the best things about KSP is the non-dependency of the internet or some random server somewhere. If you play KSP enough that this would even interest you, you'd be way better off and money ahead to just buy decent hardware. Also, I suggest changing the thread title to be a little more specific. I play on a GeForce GTX-1050Ti, but I would never, ever consider a service like this. So thread title? Yes. Thread content? Noooooo.

Well. Me too. Now anyway I played the game for several weeks without even looking at it. I'd never used one, I didn't know how. I had no clue what any of the SAS symbols meant. Frankly, it was intimidating. It may not be a preference thing to fly by the magic floating camera outside, but may be the only option. Well, no. The idea with the rockets does seem to fall apart with the planes. But I'd say it's far more likely that people understand the basic controls of a plane more than a rocket. Especially when you've got one of the most well known spacecraft being a plane strapped to a rocket. It would make more sense for the default camera view to be "from behind" when launching from the runway, though. Even though, for some reason I can't even explain to myself, I launch planes right-left with the camera facing from the North... I agree, I think this is the big thing, and the source of a lot of issues. Given the timeframe you wrote this mod in (I saw the posts where the idea was snarked), it seems it wouldn't have been too much trouble to work it in at some point. I can just see where the logic for the defaults come from. New player, no experience with spacecraft or flight controls. You have a little blurb telling you need to go up and right. The engines make you go up, you need to go right. Given the standardization of WASD... "D" makes sense. Until you know what you're doing, anyway. Awesome! I still haven't made the transition on my main mod install. I'll get this into 1.3.1 right away too.

Great mod Snark, I'll likely install it soon. Might take awhile to get used to though. I actually think the way the stock game has it set up makes sense... from a game point of view. I'm assuming that the camera is positioned where it is by default for a reason. Launch profiles are a lot easier to see from the side like that than from behind. And since the ship is tilting to the right according to the camera, it's natural for a gamer to use a control assigned to "go right". I mean, on side scrolling platformers, you don't push "up" on the D-pad to make your character go "forward" from their point of view. You push "right." I have been slowly transitioning to constructing my ships for "pitch down" instead lately, so this'll be handy. But I understand the stock setup for beginners.

The game does not seem to like that I'm trying to send Jeb to orbit in a single SRB SSTO.

I can't stand it either. I try to pretty much stay off the internet that day. It's not just the stupid pranks, but all the people who fall for the blatantly obvious ones when they should know full well what day it is. It started when I was a kid, as my grandfather died on April 1st. Then as that faded, I just hated it because of how flat out stupid it is. Especially given the problems with 1.4/1.4.1/1.4.2/MH, I will likely not be here on Sunday.

Large liquid fuel boosters problem
Geonovast replied to Peaceful Guy's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Alright, so what I'm seeing, the fuel lines and decoupler are all configured correctly. However, your staging was incorrect. 1 and 3 needed to be swapped. Possible that was part of your issue? If not, you might be looking at some kind of mod conflict causing your issues. I also have a handful of concerns about the rocket design if you're interested. -

I have MH and KER, so no issue there. If there's a MJ module on it, that's probably it. I don't seen anything else on there that could be an issue. I'll install MJ quick and try again. -

@Peaceful Guy what mods do you have that are used on this? It won't let me open it because of invalid parts. -
Can't manage to make a Space Station
Geonovast replied to Luc1fer's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Oh, and remember that waiting several orbits can be extremely helpful. It can save fuel on the encounter burn, as well as keep relative velocity to a minimum. To set manuever nodes for future orbits, just right click on the node, and you'll get two blue buttons. + for next orbit, - for previous orbit. The arrows will move when you change to future orbits. -
Can't manage to make a Space Station

This is where RCS can really help, if you have it on your ship. Stay in map mode, and you can hover over those arrows, and it will show you how close your ships get, and their relative velocity. Right click, and the numbers will stay after you move your mouse away. With RCS off, set your SAS to prograde. Turn RCS on. You can then tap 'H' and 'N' to make very small adjustments to your encounter without actually burning your main engine. If you're too far off still, hover over the AN and DN on the map. This will show you how different your orbits' inclinations are, and you can adjust that by burning or at the AN or DN. (use a manuever node for this. Set the node at the AN or DN, and drag the or markers until your AN/DN reads as close to 0 as you can get), then go back to your prograde/retrograde adjustment. -

Do you still have the craft file? If so, mind sharing it? -

Your First KSP Image (When did you take it)
Geonovast replied to Johnster_Space_Program's topic in KSP1 Discussion
@Johnster_Space_Program You can tag people by typing the '@' symbol, then typing their name. It'll give you a drop down to select from, just click on it, and it looks like it does when I just tagged you. -

This would happen if you had crossfeed enabled on the couplers. It would also explain your other issues. -
I'd say that's actually pretty unlikely, unless the milk got on the drive itself. Stick the drive in something else and see if it tries to boot.

Your First KSP Image (When did you take it)
Geonovast replied to Johnster_Space_Program's topic in KSP1 Discussion
This was my first screenshot, done with Linux's screenshot tool instead of KSP's. I didn't know KSP had a built in one until I spent some time here. This was my very first Mun landing, after failing the tutorial over, and over, and over again. I was so happy when I finally got it. Taken July 6th, 2017... the day I turned 30. Notice the clock is yellow on that tiny ship on the Mun. The laptop I was using at the time (and my only computer) was terrible at KSP. I didn't really even know about the green clock until I built my desktop. -
That's a pretty high clock i3, good amount of RAM, and a GPU, you should do alright.

Welcome to the forum! What computer did you get? Did you buy it specifically with KSP in mind?

User-made solar systems
Geonovast replied to blimpsnack's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
OP has three posts. It doesn't make you look very good to just assume literally everyone is aware of every mod. Besides, this sub forum is for suggestions to add to the stock game. Considering there is a player base that cannot use mods, just throwing out the name of a mod with implied disregard of the request is... not nice. @blimpsnack, there's actually a thread already going discussing this very thing, here: -
You need to specifically get a camera that can do Macro images.
