but you can double-check in flight that at least B9Switch was set right in the case of a problem. I can't find the message what I was referring to, but it was about having several utility parts without possibility to double-check which is which in the flight.

For some time I will not be getting heaviest vessel to orbit Kerbin achievement Could you exclude vessel with asteroids to the separate mass achievement category? Or ignore asteroid mass within vessel mass achievement, but make heaviest asteroid on orbit achievement?

A plane with 60 tourists makes my notebook cry. Could you make Extras/ patch for low performance pc, that leaves demanding seats, but makes the number of tourist 10 times less?

I would use it for the Utility Weight, so user could check in the flight that mass is right. Also someone used it as "counterweight for centrifugal stations", where it also would be helpful.

it is <name_of_subtype>. There are two cases, switchInFlight = true, and switchInFlight = false. in the case switchInFlight = false, user can't switch it and it is only a string. I see it like <switcherDescription> field and <name_of_subtype> value, so user will get "<switcherDescription> = <name_of_subtype>", for example Type = Structural string. in the case switchInFlight = true, there is already button "Select <switcherDescription >" (Select Type), after clicking, you could see that variant is chosen, I propose to add current variant to string of that button. "Select <switcherDescription > (Structural)". Example - Select Type (Structural)

@blowfish Can I make https://github.com/yalov/UtilityWeight/blob/master/GameData/UtilityWeight/Patches/patchHelpfulModules.cfg as switchable variant? "Structural (default)" - no additional modules, and "Probe" - ModuleCommand, ModuleSAS, ModuleReactionWheel, ModuleDataTransmitter. Another thing, can we have an option to show a name of a selected variant in the flight in the PAW? Without the switchInFlight it would be "switcherDescription = SUBTYPEname", with the switchInFlight — the button "Select switcherDescription (SUBTYPEname)"

Hey, also I get noticed that the mass of the smallest rolling gantry (0.45t) is ten times larger, than similar size stock small hydraulic cylinder (0.052t). Is it not suppose to be that way?

@garwel On the stock game the exception is the same. A way to reproduce: install Kerbal Health on stock create new career game Alt+F12 debugging/ show all errors and exception cheats / maximum tech and facility go to SPH cupola + hitchhiker, put Jeb and Val there. SSI Aerospace doesn't have a logo. Island Airfield doesn't fit the landing condition, while KSC or KK Airbase Runways fit. Add please Island Airfield to acceptable condition, or write in the description more precise that KSC Runway or Airbase Runways fit, but not the Island Airfield

Based on how It is written, the possibility to disable crucial part changes (like with the Poodle) means to rewrite patches, so it's will not be happening any time soon, but could you add list of parts and mods, where these kind of changes are happened? -

@Benjamin Kerman In the case you missed it, there is PR by LGG in the github. I tried a simple set up without the CHANGE{} node VERSION { version = 3.0.2 change = first change = second } but it is marked as HighPriority, that probably is a bag. I think it could be useful to support synonyms for the version and the change field (v and c, or even asterisk (*) if MM will grasp that) VERSION { v = 3.0.2 * = first * = second } And parsing any not VERSION node on the second level after the KERBALCHANGELOG as a title of the version 3.0.2 { * = first * = second } will make it even simpler. -
Version 1.1.0 fixed a bug with nodes (mentioned by @dtoxic) (If B9PartSwitch is installed, than it is used for the mass switching instead of the stock Variants.) MM v4.1.4 added 0.3125m size (B9PartSwitch)

@JadeOfMaar It's make sense. I am making patch for using only B9PS in the case it is installed, and stock Variants otherwise.

Hi @blowfish, I have the problem with the utility-weight. The part has stock Variant switcher (patch), that changes only masses, and B9PS, that changes size and moves nodes (patch). The problem that if user change size, and then change mass, nodes goes wrong. Are there some compatibility issue between B9PS and stock Variants?

I doesn't have plume for Poodle the patch misses :NEEDS[RealPlume], or something like that in the string: !PLUME {} // In case RealPlume is installed as we will insert our own. Also the Poodle is no longer vacuum engine, wh-a-at -

Doesn't :NEEDS[!FeatureScience] make patches works only when Kerbalism science is disabled? Every science mod makes much more available science, that why I like lowered PBC values for an uncrewed science. Only DMagicOrbitalScience alone makes huge difference for the available science. As an example, firstly it's patches for the stock science in the case without any other science mods for "achievable Mun and beyond", and secondly lowered science in the PBC-way for the stock and the mods. It's patch that I use for the Interkosmos. The values very small because parts are almost the same little boxes.
