I completely flunked my end of year French exam. End-of-year exams don't change anything (they're basically mocks), and my chosen career path doesn't need French at all, but it's still a bummer to see a rubbish grade on your exam paper

That’s quite a few mods, so it could be an incompatibility issue. Make a copy of your root KSP folder for testing purposes, and delete mods one by one. If the problem goes away, then the mod you just removed is causing it.

@Jaime What mods are you using, if any? Does this only happen with stock parts, or are modded parts affected too? Nobody else has reported a problem like this since Breaking Ground’s release, so it’s likely on your end. We need more information.

I forgot to post this on Friday, but my end-of-year exams are all finished now. That means I can focus on KSP and not have to worry about studying anymore!

The tiltrotor is very similar to the stock craft that @Angel-125 provides with the mod, since I didn’t have much luck building my own either. All I did was attach a KAS winch at the COM for lifting stuff, and 4 JV-6 jets for moving it about in the Deep Purple’s cargo hold. I’d recommend you just get that (it should be in a Ships folder inside the zip when you download the mod) and modify it to your needs. I may upload the craft files (depending on if people want them) for the airship and rovers when I’ve finished the journey, but since the VTOL is so similar to the craft that comes with the Buffalo mod I figured that you could just use that

Sorry for the long hiatus, guys. I've been focusing on the Kerbin Exploration Project (link in my signature) but here's another conventional mission report. This mission was actually necessary for the story: in chapter 5 the crew of the UKS Deep Purple have a meeting about the recent STS-7 launch and its payload. But anyway, on with the report!

@damonvv Loving the Bagorah so far. A couple of things: 1. Would it be possible to make the decals toggleable, just as they are on Ghidorah? (And if you can, do the decals on the Gigan solar panel fairings too). 2. I'm not sure if it's an actual bug or just my piloting, but the rocket tends to flip as the altitude approaches 10km. Thanks for this mod, it's brilliant!

It works with any planetary system, rescaled or not, because it looks in the planet’s config file for the orbital parameters and other necessary information.

An old iPhone 5S. It’s long beyond its design life (because Apple make phones for people to use for two years at most, and then buy a new one to replace the perfectly serviceable old) and as a result it overheats quite a bit when doing something as simple as browsing the forums. On the plus side, it doubles as a hand warmer for those cold winters

Yeah, with a Swivel fins would be unnecessary. But if you're going to have fins, four is generally better than three, because you can align each to the compass directions, making the rocket easier to control.

My first rocket looked like this, back when I bought the game in version 1.3.1. It shot Jeb out of the atmosphere on a suborbital trajectory. Now that I look at it, it has a couple of design flaws, most notably the LV-T30 when I should have used a 45, three fins rather than four, and the decoupler attached to the heatshield node that makes that ugly shroud. But you can hardly blame me, it was the first rocket I built.

Just one more exam to go, on Friday...hopefully this weekend I'll be able to start work on a new chapter. Oh, and I've made some plans for how this story is going to pan out...I hope you'll like it

@Kerbolitto I think I’m going to do this, and take it one step further: I’m going to recover part of the rocket, and reintegrate it into the rocket to be used again. And I’m going to do it in a completely stock game.

So, this morning some idiots in my year group apparently left a huge mess in the school library, litter and all. What did the higher-ups decide to do in response? They banned the whole year group from the library, for the entire week. Yep. Could they not have looked at the CCTV footage (because I know for a fact that there are cameras in there) to identify the particular thickos that did it, and ban only them, instead of punishing the other 99% who did nothing wrong? It doesn’t help that I have two exams this week, and the computers - that are only available to use in the library - are quite useful for studying. I don’t know who I’m more angry at, the [adjective] people who left their mess in the library, or the teachers who decided to punish everyone for their actions. Sorry for the rant. I just needed to get that out
