  1. Bugs are inevitable if SQUAD wants to keep developing the game. Unless you want to pay thousands of dollars for bug-free code, you're going to get bugs. They could just stop developing KSP now, but then we wouldn't get any new features and the game would die.
  2. @bfeist that sounds awesome! I will definitely be checking it out!
  3. Banned twice, for banning yourself, and for pretending to be the Opportunity rover.
  4. There's no point in acting all surprised about it. The planning charts and demolition orders have been in your local planning department in Alpha Centauri for over fifty of your Earth years, so you've had plenty of time to lodge any formal complaint and it's far too late to start making a fuss about it now.
  5. I think the Poodle should really stay the same, but the Wolfhound should be nerfed a little from its stock performance so it's kind of like a 2.5m Rhino engine.
  6. Probably the Alcubierre drive. All you need is some way of producing a crapton of energy and the ability to store antimatter.
  7. False. I'll give you a clue...over here we drink a lot of tea. TUBM has less than 8GB of RAM on their computer.
  8. Banned for not telling us what GRS stands for.
  9. Personally I like the new Poodle. It makes more sense than the old one (the old one’s nozzle was too small for a vacuum engine) while still fitting into the compact profile. And they are adding a dV indicator in 1.6 ( ):
  10. I’ll just link the threads... KSP Loading has a ton of revamps, including the Spark (and the Mk2 Lander Can, which looks amazing BTW). And here’s the Poodle: Seriously, all of this is stickied at the top of the Daily Kerbal subforum (just above this one in the forum index), so it’s not too hard to find.
  11. Which one? BTW, there are a ton of previews in the Daily Kerbal of the parts being revamped.
  12. @te45a I think this is more of a KAS question, so you’d be better off asking on the KAS thread.
  13. Well I guess we’ll just have to see... but if SQUAD nails it, it’s up to @jrbudda to decide if dV should remain in KER.
  14. Just AVC. Try the mod 'Zero Mini AVC' to get rid of those annoying notifications.
  15. I've always been using KER for delta-V readouts, but with a stock version coming in 1.6 I'll happily drop those from my HUD. (I won't get rid of KER though. It still shows tons of useful information that stock doesn't.)
  16. Skyhook VTOL lifting off. And a sunrise from my space station:
  17. What kind of spacecraft are you using? Direct entry from Jool is never a good idea anyway. Try using your engines to brake into an elliptical Kerbin orbit, then aerobrake down from there.
  18. :hype: But @Xurkitree the correct term is 'hype train'. And @GregroxMun is the official Hype Train driver.
  19. I'd like to see a balance between shiny new features and bugfixing. I love all of the new stuff that's coming (dV indicators ) but I hope that SQUAD will also focus some development time on fixing some of the really game-breaking and annoying bugs that are plaguing KSP right now. (And a note: While there may be over a thousand bugs in the bugtracker right now, I reckon that a lot of those are tiny little errors that happen once and are never encountered again.)
  20. @jrbudda Fantastic mod! It has just been confirmed by SQUAD that there will be dV readouts in 1.6, so do you think you'll remove the delta-V calculation from KER? (Of course, KER still has a lot of useful information that the stock readouts will not display, so it's not completely obsolete.) The video that SQUAD posted, just for convenience:
  21. I wouldn't say dragging files into GameData is really 'messing with the game files' but I can see the usefulness of this.
