  1. Accelerated to 51.7 m/s in Hard Mode, and a total distance of 6.3 km, adding up to a grand total of: drumroll... 325.71! Not bad for a 1.75 ton rover in Hard mode! http://imgur.com/a/rZ26r
  2. During a Minmus mission gone wrong, Ludhat Kerman was stranded on the surface of Minmus with only a faulty rover for company. With a cobbled-together rover-launcher, he was able to escape Minmus orbit, aerobrake to the surface, and EVA right as the rover exploded behind him. http://imgur.com/a/SuSxH
  3. I listen to the soundtrack from Interstellar.
  4. @SmashingKirby148 It's really simple, just do @Kopernicus:AFTER[Kopernicus] { !Body[Eve] }
  5. The Spicy Mk2! Yes, I do name my launchers after salsa. Able to lift 3.5 tons to LKO, and is fully reusable, SpaceX style! http://imgur.com/a/DR9kT

  7. Eve! It should be renamed to Rocket Scientist's Bane.
  8. Great mod! Extremely useful for testing those craft with very low margins (because I couldn't bring myself to add extra fuel)
  9. Messing around with the new Scatterer update
  10. I'm hoping you're using all this time to make an official release for 1.2 with funny descriptions and everything.
  11. Challenge Accepted. Plan Details: Before mission, ISRU equipment is shipped to Eve surface. The lander aerobrakes while attached to transfer vehicle. Before the circularisation burn, the lander undocks and re-enters, perfectly timed to... Land on Mount Indigo and deploy rover. The rover goes everywhere while ISRU creates fuel. Lander launches back into orbit, and rendezvouses with the transfer vehicle. Done!
  12. I was messing around with planet textures the other day... 100% heightmap based! (This is Vall, by the way.)
  13. Landing and returning, in the most efficient way possible
  14. A few tips for building reusable landers: Get rid of any mass you possibly can, and use the most efficient engine possible. The best way to land is to keep your vertical velocity at 0 while burning horizontal; when all your horizontal velocity is gone, land vertically with a suicide burn. Only about 5500 Δv is required to land on Tylo, spare no excess. Start in the lowest orbit you can; while this may sound counterintuitive, it actually decreases landing speed.
  15. One ScaledSpace to rule them all! (Oh yes, and great job on using a valid CIL image so I can run it with Mono)
  16. Yup! Transparency determines the strength of the reflection shader, so in theory, you could make the whole thing slightly reflective.
  17. @max_creative The small dark space rock is the number five space rock going around a big ball of fire. It is between the red space rock and the big green space rock (that isn't made of rock) The small dark space rock is supposed to be a real space rock. It is like the brown space rock and the white space rock in that it has no air and no smaller space rocks going around it (except for a few). It pulls on you the least of all the big space rocks. The small dark space rock is considered a too small rock by the game because it has not moved the other space rocks around it away; in other words, it has small space rocks very close.
