these two parts will dock: "Docking port for MiniKerbalShuttle" (the part that goes inside the payload bay) and "Docking Port" from the same mod, the one that is plain, not the one that looks like an APAS port. and maybe the airlock docking port needs to be "open" (extended)

Cool - thanks. For sure you will need to get rid of the duplicate module manager DLLs. You only want to have one present, it should be the 4.2.1 version. It's possible that will fix this issue, but it's for sure necessary. I'm not sure what _LOCAL is, but I'm pretty sure it's not a mod. In theory, all the immediate children of GameData will be either mod folders, or module manager files.

Welcome to the forums. Pretty soon people are going to start responding with just a link to an article about how to get support. The deal is that everyone but you is guessing about what you have installed, and how you installed it. Whenever a mod is grossly misbehaving, and you know it works for other people, you have some sort of install problem (they can be subtle) and the only way anyone can really pinpoint the issue is by seeing your install. That means either a picture of your GameData folder posted somewhere like Imgur, or a link to your ksp.log file posted somewhere like google drive. The ksp.log file is usually better as it contains info not captured by a picture of the folder, like subdirectories and versions of stuff.

Program\GameData\ModuleManager.4.1.3.dll won the election against Version 4.1.3.0 C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\ModuleManager.4.1.4.dll Version 4.1.3.0 C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\ModuleManager.4.2.1.dll Idk if this will fix your issues or not, but I can tell you that this isn't good. You should have only 4.2.1 in your GameData folder, not all the old copies, too. You can see here than an older copy "won" and is being used, when there's a newer copy that should be used instead. Edit: just noticed MiniAVC.dll too - that mod is outdated and is known to cause runtime issues, so you'll want to eliminate that, too. Or install NoMiniAVC.

I'd be interested in a version without lights, too - since that's the reason I don't use it. Here's how ELA-3 looks for me. When I need lights I use the KSC Floodlight mod so I can scale/move it.

Roll control on the Thor is provided by the two finch engines ... how is that connected to the planet pack? edit: and btw, the sample Thor-Agena A and B crafts have the finches facing the wrong direction.- 1,971 replies

Neither. One is dangerous and the other is a waste of time/bandwidth. I use Github Desktop to fetch deltas to my repo clone on a staging machine. Then I use Beyond Compare to do directory sync between my gaming machine and the staging machine. Importantly, Sync deals with orphans, which file copy does not. Doing a full delete is the only other safe approach, but then you're downloading the entire repository every time for just a few changed files.

Appreciate the interest. As weird as it seems to me, I've narrowed this down to being a conflict with another mod(s). I have two installs right now with binary identical copies of BDB, B9, and CRP, same KSP version. The SIV-B IU works on one, but not the other. At some point I'll muster the motivation to narrow down the differences between these installs - there are lots of parts. In the meantime, just out of curiosity, do you have Harmony installed?

[BETA] KSRSS 0.7 - Kerbin (or x2.5) sized RSS
OrbitalManeuvers replied to tony48's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Not really. The only problem with citylights that I know about is a conflict with Parallax. I suggest reducing your mods to the bare minimum for a planet pack, plus KSRSS, plus Eve, plus scatterer, and see what you get. With these things, the devil is always in the details. You have something installed that's conflicting with normal KSRSS display, so it's probably best to take a step back and get a super basic install looking correct, and then go from there.- 1,971 replies

Hmm, idk what that is. Sounds like maybe you have something installed that I don't have. I'm using the KSRSS folder as it appears in the download, plus eve, plus scatterer - but no other configs for KSRSS. I believe the entries you're looking for are in GameData\KSRSS\KSRSSVE\EVE\Clouds.cfg?- 1,971 replies

tbh, I'm never sure what things are "supposed" to look like. I took two shots similar to yours, so here's what my system looks like today. Have you tried landing? There are definitely clouds during descent.- 1,971 replies

sorry - maybe you can show pictures of what you're unhappy with? also, remember that tufx can drastically change what an atmosphere looks like, so try it with nothing else besides eve/scatterer, or with the default-empty tufx config. Also, scaled space (map view) is different at different altitudes, and different than when you're in the flight scene controlling a vessel, so i'm not sure what you're seeing where.- 1,971 replies

This continues to show thusly on my system. My install is file-for-file identical with the Github repo as of 20 minutes ago, no extra files present, and no Old Parts folder. My B9 is identical to the Github repo's version as well. Can anyone else (who is in sync as of today) take a quick look if yours does this too?

since you named two planets with atmospheres, i'm gonna guess your scatterer version needs to be downgraded to 0.772.- 1,971 replies

Ah ok - well, there's one problem for sure, fingers crossed that fixing it also fixes the Kopernicus error. Anyway, you're missing SpaceTuxLibrary, which is a dependency of Janitor's Closet. https://spacedock.info/mod/2210/SpaceTux Library Leaving town in a minute for a few days, so if this doesn't fix it, hopefully someone else can help!- 1,971 replies

This will be some sort of install issue. Without knowing what/how you have things installed, I'll take a wild guess. KSRSS comes in a zip file called KSRSS-megapack.zip. Inside the zip you'll find a folder called KSRSS, it's that folder that needs to be copied into the GameData folder, such that you end up with GameData\KSRSS. If that's how you already have it, then you might need to post a picture of your GameData folder, or your complete log file, as those would give more info.- 1,971 replies

I downloaded the medium file. The zip contains two folders and a readme. Both folders get copied to GameData. Only catch is that one of them is named KSRSS, so you're destructively modifying your KSRSS when you install this. Not a huge deal, but something to be aware of if you uninstall it, as you'll need to restore your original KSRSS files, too.
