[1.9.x] KSP Original Score Project - Over 2 hours of music for KSP!
nwillard replied to -ctn-'s topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Just wanted to pop in and say thanks for the awesome mod! Got tired of the stock music and wondered if something like this existed... Surprised it hasn't gained more traction being that it totally adds a comprehensive new soundtrack to the game! And it's really good!- 60 replies

Thanks so much for the reply! They are unhired and appear to be populating just the candidate pool. I deleted them from persistence.sys before but more just showed up. I'll see what I can do later and edit this post. UPDATE: They've mostly all filtered out several days later. Thanks for the response!

Firstly thanks for the amazing mod. I just crashed the initial Kola Island executive contract and killed everyone, and when I went to the astronaut complex to recruit more kerbals the civilians showed up. I have Kerbalism installed but I think it's the stock interface. I guess that bug you noted up there. Know of any easy fix for this?

Damn, honestly, I was kind of waiting a few months to get back into my career when the Joolian system was revamped, as that's about where I'm up to. But I want everything to be pretty! I haven't actually landed on Tylo yet, for example. It might kill me but I think I'll have to wait for the NEXT update before I continue that save. But hey, I'll probably crack into the scenarios and have some fun with those! Still haven't seen the beautify'd Kerbin yet. Congrats on the release, Squad.

Soon, it'll be now! But not now.

Soon is now! On the other hand, now is soon...

I guess this is the best reasoning I've heard for at least a few screenshot crumbs. The ball's in your court, Star Theory!

I'll field this one. When they came out with the announcement they got such an overwhelming amount of feedback from KSP veterans which both helped them solidify their priorities, and likely gave them a crapload of work to do in tweaking/redeveloping various aspects of the game, in order to make the best game possible. The above rejiggering takes a long time, and before it is done, there inherently isn't anything new to show. This is the period we are still in now, and it's not really surprising nor should be taken with alarm. They also just got the green light for several additional months of development time (the move to fiscal year 2021) and are likely taking the opportunity to focus on some stuff they may not have had time for before. Also, it was the holiday season. I expect more updates in the next couple months.

I'll try it out and report back! UPDATE: Kopernicus isn't updated yet so I didn't install that, still got some sweet visuals launching from Kerbin and am glad to try this mod again. Eve didn't have a visible ocean when I got there but that could easily be a different mod conflict I haven't narrowed down yet. Still,

The Trouble with the Unity upgrade
nwillard replied to linuxgurugamer's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Wow linuxgurugamer, you're like, a real-life superhero. -
Sounds like an unlucky run of bugs. The base game seems pretty stable to me, in 1.8.1 at least.

[KSP1.12.x] RealPlume - Stock v4.0.8 & RealPlume v13.3.2 [25/JUN/2021]
nwillard replied to Zorg's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Came here to report the above bug, so instead I'll just say that actually maybe it's a feature! Why only consign the sexy beauty of RealPlume to the times that make sense? All sexy all the time, I say! -
Oh yeah that was not a pointed comment toward you at all, I totally understand needing to prioritize your free time like that. I hope MAS gets more adoption, it's great.

totm sep 2021 [1.12] Stockalike Station Parts Redux (August 14, 2024)
nwillard replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I appreciate your work so hard. Kerbal is inspiring me to go into aerospace, and your mods are such a big part of my endgame now. -
[1.3.0] Kerbal Engineer Redux 1.1.3.0 (2017-05-28)
nwillard replied to cybutek's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I don't see it either for some reason, marked 1.8 and 1.8.1 and the latest version as compatible. -
Rest in Peace RasterPropMonitor, we had some good times.

[1.8.x] DE_IVAExtension - For All the Stock Pod IVAs!
nwillard replied to DemonEin's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
So are a lot of IVA's dead in the water due to ASET Props not being updated yet? Just curious, no pressure to the glorious mod makers. -
Crowd Sourced Science-Biome Reports Everywhere! (August 11) [6.0]

I see a DLL, so... this one might be kaput for now in 1.8 -
ASET Props Pack. v1.5 (for the modders who create IVA)
nwillard replied to alexustas's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
I see a couple .DLL's, so this mod is kaput for now in 1.8 I assume. -
[1.12.x] Near Future Technologies (September 6)

HOLY NUTBALLS, IT'S HAPPENING! *runs to 1.8* -
[1.12.5] Restock - Revamping KSP's art (August 28)
nwillard replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Whoa. The second-to-last pillar preventing my 1.8 update falls, and with gusto. Well done, all. -
Well most plainly, they aren't done with the Kerbol System's overall texture revamp, so there will be at least a 1.9. It's such a night-and-day difference that I'm sure their aim is to hit all the celestial bodies. I'm very excited for the probable Kerbin revamp. The real question is what major things they might add after 1.9.
