Lol, it's right above your first post.

It's still pretty easy to delete all the parts you don't want, the .cfg files are labelled as crew parts, solar panels, radiators, etc..

TNiC is among the simplest mods to manually install, so try manually installing the latest version and see if anything changes.

[1.8-1.12] TextureReplacer 4.5.3 (8.2.2022)
golkaidakhaana replied to shaw's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I've been having non-stop trouble with visors (first the Making History Russian suit visors glitching out, now they've suddenly turned purple for all Kerbals on EVA), is it possible to disable the effects TR has on visors? EDIT: Ignore this, found the setting to disable it. -
Thanks, this worked. Drakenex fixed the bug by changing the parachutes' texture switching to using Firespitter rather than stock texture switching, @grayal Do you see stock texture switcher prompts on the parachutes? If so, maybe you're using an older version of TNiC.

Thank you everyone for the kind words, I have realised I need to seek help. Hopefully I'll book an appointment with my counsellor this week. I really just needed to talk about my depression and get it out in the open and I think it has helped, also seeing people who actually care has motivated me to do something about it. @SuperMiiBrother I'm deeply sorry for your loss, that mustve been a very difficult situation for you and your family to deal with. @tater Thank you and yes, I have been taking antipsychotic medication for several years, luckily I no longer experience major symptoms, and I am sorry for the loss of your brother.

@Beale Trying to edit the old-style Progress tanker compartment .cfg (_Hamal_Control_1) from "RESOURCE{ name = LiquidFuel amount = 63 maxAmount = 63}RESOURCE{ name = Oxidizer amount = 77 maxAmount = 77}" to "RESOURCE{ name = MonoPropellant amount = 140 maxAmount = 140}". No idea what I'm doing wrong, but instead of changing its' resources to monopropellant, it doesn't load in-game at all.

Before anyone asks, the main reason why I have chosen the KSP forums above all else is, aside from it being the only community I am really active in, seems to be mostly used by mature and intelligent adults and not people who would humiliate and/or insult me, or accuse me of attention-seeking. For the past 10 of my nearly 24 years alive, I have been depressed for a variety of reasons. For the most part, I'd gradually get better with the help of antidepressants and counselling and on one occasion the use of a suicide hotline, but during 2018 it returned with a vengeance, brought on first by my diagnois with schizophrenia, fueled by the stigma I recieved because of it, and culminating with the passing of my father, aged 53 from prostate cancer, last week on the 26th February. I have virtually no contact with any of my family, very few friends, poor social skills, no job, no significant other, and now no real reason to live. I've been doing nothing but playing KSP (I have over 3000 hours in Steam, the only game I've played recently), watching random Youtube videos and using amateur radio ever since I moved out of my dad's house 3 years ago, and the only person I've really talked to in this timeframe is my dad so his passing has greatly affected me. I've barely had any sleep and have been almost constantly in tears. I have n chance of success in life, everyone tells me "it'll get better" but I have patiently waited a decade and see no end in sight for my depression, so please someone kindly tell me why I should go on living.

@damonvv I've tried both the Github and Spacedock versions in new installs and the issue of the payload adaptor turning "DEPRECIATED" still persists. I'm certain this isn't an issue on my end.

I have absolutely no clue how to start KSP with Dx11 and there isn't a very detailed explanation in the OP, could someone please enlighten me?

Any Train Simulator/model railroading geeks here?
golkaidakhaana replied to Kerbinchaser's topic in The Lounge
Of course, I understand it's a hobby, but what I don't understand is what draws you more to trains above all else. What is it about a model of a train that appeals to you more than, say, a model of a car, or a model of an ocean liner? Most people can say they find beauty in an expensive, high-performance car, or an elegant steamship, but trains, particularly modern diesel-powered trains... I just don't see it. I understand that setting up a working model of a traintrack could be a pretty fun hobby, and old steam-driven trains are quite elegant in their own way, but I see so many people who say they love these modern diesel-fume-spewing monstrosities, this really perplexes me.- 239 replies

Hmm, interesting.

NOT a train enthusiast here, I'd just really like to know what it is you train enthusiasts find so interesting about trains. It's insane how many people I've met both online and in the real world who have a genuine interest in trains, and while I can fully understand the appeal of automobiles, motorcycles, aircraft, spacecraft and watercraft, I genuinely can't comprehend why or how a train could be so fascinating when it's essentially a gigantic truck with lots of tiny metal wheels, so please, someone enlighten me on this subject.- 239 replies

Uhh, nope. I've always pronounced it, and only ever heard it pronounced, as 'Mer-Say-Deez'.
