this is very annoying and has been in the game for a long time. it also sometimes opens up the part manager when dragged over a part, which used to be hell when it took 30 seconds to open

i quite like the way ksp2 does science storage, having science be stored 'everywhere' in the vessel rather than in a part and automatically copy itself between any docking/undocking vessels is pretty handy and straightforward. the only real issue with it is that worthless experiments often clutter up the UI, which could easily be remidied by just allowing the player to remove those from storage and to stop asking them to perform experiments when they've already been cashed in

theres quite few known bugs with atmospheres dissapearing. looks like i can happen in flight view, map view and the KSC. @Krzysztof Jaromir i took a better look at your report and that turned out to be a bit of a different issue where the skybox is gone and it starts flashing in weird colors (which in itself is seperate from the skybox being static/partially or fully missing)

This is a known issue that was listed in the patch notes for v0.2. while this is most prevalent around Jool, i've also seen it happen around Gilly

looks like this happens outside of the KSC too and is an issue with the Skybox. video: Kerbal Space Program 2 2023-12-24 06-16-49.mp4 This used to also havven in earlier versions, so i've marked this as a regression

@PicoSpace merged your report with this one since it seemed the most appropriate. we try to keep reports limited to one bug at a time, so if you want to make seperate reports for the solar panels having weird VFX/too much heat resistance and the weridness happening around the pod after the bottom stage is detroyed, go ahead

tested this and can confirm, added video to show the issue
