  1. I think this is what the OP is kinda asking for. If you mouse over the parameter, it will give a brief description of each so you can figure out what each does. Launch your deployment vessel to the intended orbital height, deploy the first satellite, and adjust it's position, and repeat for the rest. BUT... Do this, and get your satellites close enough to where you feel a sense of accomplishment in pretty much getting the satellites about where you want them, then imagine junior engineers are in charge of fine tuning the orbits (I hate fine tuning stuff like this), and use HE to tweak the three orbits to exactly where they need to be so you don't have to manually station keep every so often, only rarely. If you want a stock option, the first mod listed up there was originally a stand alone web site: Resonant Orbit Calculator (Kerbal Space Program)
  2. No No, I like the Bansky choice. Except we gotta land him on the moon with a bull dozer and a million gallons of paint.
  3. The older I get, the more I want to, the less I'm able too, so all the more I would go. Safe or Not, I'm going. Either I have a great story, or I die doing something (I assume) I love.
  4. I too read that 30+ years ago. I've read his latest, but I wonder how BHT holds up.... Nice link. Thanks.
  5. Sooo... all we have to go on is the name of the ship. I don't think that's enough detail.
  6. www.ModAdoptersAnonymus.org You might want to look at sitting in on a meeting or twenty. Thanks again for all your work LGG.
  7. Don't let it be a barrier. Like anything, new stuff will just take a little time to learn. Give it a spin, worst that happens is your out a few bucks. If you don't, you could regret missing out on something for years.
  8. I believe curvature is a value usually expressed without units. Kinda like the slope of a graph.
  9. I believe RealGecko said fare well over the winter, and handed out control of his mods to a variety of people. You might want to look again and see if anybody else picked up BV. I'd take a look at the last thread started by RG.
  10. Pretty much, but after his response, I figured I'd be better off in other threads.
  11. Well, considering some of them got tazed by local police, I'd say the reactions were mixed.
  12. Not only that.. but it seems your file structure is all messed up: Mod packs go inside GameData, not the other way around. I would recommend getting CKAN and using that to install all your mods, until you have a handle on how to do it manually. Trust me, it's way easier, been playing modded KSP for 5 years now, and I just added CKAN last year, and I'm much happier for it.
  13. As log as it's an option to be picked when creating a new save, I'm all for it.
  14. Launcher has been broken for a number of years now. Don't use it.
  15. Isn't that the whole mechanic behind Research Bodies?
  16. Memgraph might be a solution then. [1.2.x/1.3] MemGraph 1.1.0.3 - with Stutter Reduction - Add-on Releases - Kerbal Space Program Forums Last post in the thread has a link to the 1.4 version.
  17. I find that looking at anything but the Navball in space always leads to bad things. I think the ship is oriented one way in relationship to the camera, and it's actually the other. But by the navball, up is always up, and left is always left.
  18. [snip] What problem is that? There is no problem listed in this 4 year old thread. Perhaps if you would expand upon your statement, in a single thread, we might be able to help.
  19. Give that a whirl, see if it persists. Is anything interesting showing in the KSP.log when it happens? Also give the memgraph mod a try. What you're describing is not typical for that mod, but it might be related. Wait... does the time warp reduce to zero then catch back up, or does the game itself slow down, and then catch up?
  20. What the heck else are you running that is taking 13gb of RAM? That may be part of the problem, but you have enough free space that that shouldn't be the only issue. We'll need the KSP.log though.
  21. I think if the OP wanted to write up a guide for beginners on picking some mods to start with, and describing a variety of some basic mod setups that a lot of players enjoy, they would find some support in the community. Maybe not a lot, but some. Maybe some others would help contribute too. But it would probably amount to nothing more than a guide in the tutorials section, and would need pretty much constant updating. And of course, as mentioned, everybody plays with different mod setups, so it would not be a definitive list, rather a suggestion on where to start. But, I'd assume there's been a few of these threads made over time, and none to my knowledge has ever gone far.
  22. As always, LGG to the rescue. In reading that article, it seems we would create a link to the destination folder for the SS's, and the game would think it's sticking them in the default folder, but actually it's putting them in the destination folder? Or am I reading that wrong?
  23. I don't know if you can within the game, and I'd assume that Steam screenshots could be remapped, but I've never tried. But if all else fails, running a simple .bat file to copy and delete the screenshots folder should do the trick. Although, it might run into numbering issues, as I don't know if KSP remembers that last screenshot number taken, or if it just adds one to the last one in the default folder, and you might end up with duplicate file names in the destination folder.
  24. That's not a bad idea, although those opposed to steam in general may not like it, as it would probably require a Steam account to access, but that's kind of their own problem. Yes, it is feasible, as they already have it in place. It was a one time offer for certain purchasers, and some early adopters still have the offer pending. But some players, like myself, have chosen not take it up. I don't think it's available for purchases made from the store after a certain date. Somewhere on your account page in the store it will show if you are eligible for the transfer.
