Wrong, it's not just graphic. There are new parts and new mechanics too. Yes, some parts are missing, but it's Early Access. Stuff is going to be missing until they add it. But I would consider KSP 2 a better game than KSP 1 simply for the new mechanics alone. ANd new parts like procedural wings and the fresh updated textures, etc. Because not everything needs to be procedural.

The tutorial doesn't treat anyone like a 'baby' it's just explaining very complex things in a simplified way. And I truly don't see what people hate about the voice actor. It's clearly autotuned voice to make it sound more kid friendly. I'd rather have a kid friendly voice than some adult talking in a monotone voice. Yes, the voice is a little squeaky, but that's the voice younger kids really find fun.

Sorry, but you're wrong. The graphics are so much better than KSP 1. KSP 1's graphics are so muted and the textures are kind of bland. Roadmap doesn't have any dates, because they can't guarentee any dates. Plus, if they were to give dates, and miss them, the community would be upset. There is new stuff. New graphics, new UI, new parts. Everything about the game is brand new. The only thing the same is the name of the game and the planets and maybe a handful of parts. Other than that, it's pretty much a brand spanking new game. We got answers yesterday.

Does GFN even support or allow early access games?
-
I think they might have been, at least the fuel tanks. If they weren't, Intercept has expressed they may add them if community feedback requests them.
-
1000 hours? I give it 3 to 5 months.

Rings!

Pure speculation. If that was official, Intercept would have posted it in a thread themselves.

THe hardware requirements for min spec have been updated to include a 1070Ti. If you have a 1060, you should be fine.

That's the price you pay for EA. Also, new screenshots on steam!

They are releasing into early access. Very early access. Rumor as to why differ, but the popular theory is that Take Two is angry and wants it released now. As to the release dates, they aren't going to give any, because not even Intercept knows when they will be done with each update. That and Squad found out that giving out release dates is bad, especially when you can't meet those release dates.

SISS 5: S0 Truss Segment - October 29th, 1989 Flown by Shuttle-C With crewed Shuttle missions grounded pending the Enterprise accident investigation, the launch of the S0 truss segment was moved to Shuttle-C, the expendable space shuttle. A one off tug system was also devised since the Canadarm wouldn't be available. (Again, no story, cause tired. If you want to make one, go ahead!) Full album: Imgur: The magic of the Internet (Opss... at least it didn't hit the shuttle. Also, the right engine wouldn't fire up for some reason. I found out why. It relies on a specific orientation... weird.)

Guys, we are just over 72 hours away from KSP 2 EA!

The collider glitch was notable in a lot of videos. Some pointed it out. One youtuber even mentioned his wheels clipping through the ground when he rolled his rover. -
Besides, veterans have been building for quite a while. We can kind of look at a rocket and go, "Yep, that will work."... well... most of the time.

Real Kerbalnauts don't need math. We just apply the good ole Kerbal saying.

IVA isn't going to be in EA day one. It was mentioned in a few videos. They will come, just not at launch of EA.

Niche Definition & Meaning - Merriam-Webster : From Google: 4 million players out of steam's 120 million? I would call that niche. KSP being a space sim when there's under 10 total space sim games? Niche. You laugh, but the facts speak for themselves. KSP is niche. -
Same.

Early access. Very early access. Reentry heatting and aerodynamics visual forces were disabled for the build the content creators played. It must have been very buggy. Proper RCS? They had RCS, what you talking about? I will agree, not having the "Engineers statistics" is kind of worrying, but again, see the first line of this comment. Tbf, KSP 1 didn't have a TWR thing for the longest time. You kind of just had to guess.

4 million copies is niche in today's standards when games regularly sell 30 to 100 million copies. But the copies sold doesn't make it niche. It's genre does. Doesn't matter if it sells 3 billion copies. KSP is a niche game. Early access. Very early access. -
You can't say that for certain. The symbols are so tiny you can't see pixelation on them, if it is there.
