White Guardian - I don't know if this will help (and you probably saw this already) but an individual got dust storms working on Duna again. Not sure if his snippet of code can help for Arkas: I was also wondering if you could turn down Arka's shininess a bit? Right now it looks like a teenager's oily face in the sun Though maybe it will look perfect once clouds are there and you're roaming around the planet and in orbit. When do you think you might have this available to test? I'd be happy to test or do anything. I'm guessing this planet was based on Dune a bit and I am so excited to have this in my game in all its glory. -
Outside of the stuff NathanKell mentioned will be added back, does anyone know what else is going to be in the 1.1 patch?

Ohhhh thank you very much for educating me on this matter. I hope to sometime soon take parts of really old different planet packs that never got updated, take the best planets and moons, and make one super planet with a bunch of moons around it, and put it in a nonconlict orbit somewhere. Either in an extreme outter elliptical orbit that would receive almost no sunlight, or around one f the added star packs that still works in 1.1 So you're going to be able to fix the config file soon so we have clouds on Arkas? If so, I cannot tell you how eager I am for that! -

Awesome! Now what should I do? Restart my whole game with this? Or can I slip this in and my current save will still be ok? Based on your description it sounds like this would not be OK, but I'm not sure. I love your work (as if you couldn't tell) -
I sure would like to get this to work just to be able to view the beautiful systems. No luck thus far, with latest Kopernicus, KSP v1.1, 64-bit exe - I don't see any of the stars or planets.

OK I fixed the problem with Arkas wiping out all weather in the entire solar system. The first line of your clouds.cfg should not be EVE_CLOUDS. ARKAS_CLOUDS does not disable weather on Kerbin (but of course this does not create clouds nor weather on Arkas) but at least it doesn't break anything else. -
If you haven't thought about add-on planets, walk... no run to sample!

Oh I know for a serious game I will have to do some major league orbital editing. Maybe even create a third star system for the extra planets I want. -

Know whats funny is you can't even see the two extra star systems outside of that lol. I might do a second game install just to play with tooo many planets. Trying to work a ship through all those planetary/moon SOI's will be insane haha. -

I've run into something with two planet packs now that is weird. This and Arkas - the planets work and look fine in the game, but they break clouds for Kerbin and the rest of the planets though nothing changes in EVE. Any clue why that might be? -

So when you said you broke Eve clouds, they seem to have broken everywhere not just on Arkas. I was tinkering with a bunch of mods earlier, so I didn't realize it was Arkas that broke it until I went back to adding one planetary system at a time. How can I fix clouds on all the other planets while you work on Arkas (so I can still keep Arkas)? -

Do you suggest I install them all manually or use CKAN? I know SVE is messed up on CKAN right now, but wondered if it's safe to do all the others. I'm a little confused as to what I'm supposed to install with something like EVE. They have the main one then yet a much larger file with a ton of configs I don't recognize.

Awesome! Weird question malkuth. I don't know how the game tracks your progress so is this like a resident program that uses resources while it watches for specific trigger hits? ie. is there any kind of fps hit from this mod? Also since you understand how the toolbars work, should I only be going for mods that do not use Blizzy's toolbar? Or will there be no issue if some mods use his toolbar and others don't? Thanks!
