  1. Because the ends would be out of physics range of each other, no doubt
  2. I have recreated this bug in pure stock, and submitted it to the bug tracker. Saves: https://www.dropbox.com/s/qlvp8rjwn0whbbn/quicksave.sfs?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/uf9gmldh33svsje/quicksave %233.sfs?dl=0 Vid:
  3. Too long? When you hear birds start chirping outside and you realize the sun is coming up....
  4. Another good drink for S.S. Kalifornia would be the Alien Urine Sample
  5. The more air you pull into an engine (any engine, even a car engine), the more fuel you can add to burn. With a jet engine more air equals more reaction mass to push out the back. Also, more compression means greater efficiency, as the combustion products will expand more. Finally, in the thin air at high altitudes, compression is needed even more just to get enough oxygen into the engine. Also, what shynung ninja'd me with.
  6. Mun Raider (Tomb Raider, of course) Age of Rockets (Age of Empires) Donkey Kerbal Kerman Bros Missile Command (no Kerbalization needed!)
  7. 10:26pm for me. But I'm an early bird, so I may not be awake by then...
  8. Luckily it was clear skies here. I got up at my usual 3:30 am to go to work, but instead of drinking my coffee in front of my computer as usual, I went outside. As soon as I sat down, a bright one flashed across the sky, probably the length of at least 4 full moons, leaving a faintly glowing cloud behind. I saw three more fainter ones over the next five minutes. The first one was at right angles to the next few, so I don't think it was related to the Perseids. Bear in mind, this was in the middle of my townhouse complex, so it wasn't all that dark even though I was about as far as I could be from any outdoor lighting. Still, not bad for 5 minutes of stargazing.
  9. If you have KIS/KAS, you can get your engineer to remount them. I had to do that myself once when I mounted the drills too low.
  10. Well, there is also the Crazy Eddie drive, aka the Alderson drive, as described in The Mote in God's Eye.
  11. Way back when I tried the demo I built the "MonkeyLauncher" series, which culminated with my first Mun landing
  12. Jeb: Damage report! Bill: Guidance system out. RCS out. Bob: Abort! Abort! Jeb: She won't answer the helm! We're locked into the Mun's gravitational pull. What do we do? [sound of Bill eating the last snack] Bob: We die. -The Last Starfighter
  13. Ok, I suppose I have more than a few, but considerig how many some people run. The only part mods I have are KAS/KIS and Station Science (no SS parts at Moho, either). I consider flag packs to be hardly worth mentioning, but I'll have to see if the absence of flag packs causes issues
  14. You can also go into the tracking station, make sure the filter at the top of the screen is set to show debris, then select the debris and terminate them one-by-one
  15. Does it count if I use KAC and TWP to help get there? Or Hyperedit, which I've never tried...
  16. I don't think it was as easily visible. I only saw it the first time by looking very hard for it. This time it was practically glaring at me.
  17. 30 - Only thirty Spartans are available to fight the Persians at Thermopylae in 480 B.C.
