    I'll also add it's usually never a decision by a single mod - unless, perhaps, one of the seniors, but even then I think it usually isn't. We discuss these among ourselves before taking action.

    AND SO YOU MUST! Has anyone ever watched the Call of Cthulhu fan movie from 2005 (silent black and white and all)? My alarm clock is from its soundtrack, called "Fevered Dreams" if I'm not mistaken. But I always wake up half an hour before it and bury my head in my pillow desperately trying to get that extra half hour >.<

    I agree, and I don't say that as a moderator but as a regular user - I've been here for three years, and my moderator status is still fresh from the oven. The level of politeness seen is this forum is almost unheard of on the internet. And I am very grateful (now speaking as a mod) that you agree with that, and that we can have this meta conversation about what we can't say (and why) in a civilized manner Addendum: there are hiccups, sure, and when you become a moderator you notice them more. But I've always held the moderating team in great respect for the way they (now "us") handle things.

    I'd also like this, but I disagree with the premise that engineers are useless. In stock they're the only ones that are (marginally) useful after awhile.

    Ever read Asimov's Foundation? He does a GREAT (in my opinion) work at explaining math that is way more complex that what we currently have, by *not* exposing it. It's like he does Hollywood technobabble, but he merely suggests it, by using as few terms as he can, but sort of pointing toward where it's supposed to go, and it feels right. As a mathematician myself I thought that was a master play.

    Hey, can I use this with the stock KSC assets, or are those locked away? This doesn't seem to have been mentioned in this thread, but every other post saying "you need KerbinSide" or something similar makes me think I already know the answer to that Is it a matter of not knowing how to locate the stock assets, or is it that they really can't be used?

    I meant before the whole thing. If they can see 3000 years (or much more) into the future, they can came here and say "hey" in any language they'd like, not hang around for months playing 20 questions. Vocal cords or not, they can write just fine. ...MATH. We've been discussing just that.
