  1. Hello @Soljak Kerman, and welcome to the forum! I don't think there are official discord groups, but if you check on The Lounge forums there are a couple unofficial ones. And, on the top of the screen, there's a link to the official KSP IRC channel.
  2. I didn't realize until yesterday you had also revived this mod. You amaze me.
  3. Simpsons ages like wine. Beavis and Butt-head aged like... milk.
  4. Banned for not playing the game properly.
  5. In my case, @Red Iron Crown threw a dart at a board, and it landed in my name Joking aside, I once expressed that, if they needed, I was available. Some things help: being around for awhile, being helpful, having time to dedicate to it, being fluent in another language (in my case, you can say I'm fluent in this language, since my own is Portuguese ) since there is an international section, having no infractions. None of these are required on their own, I think, but that sort of thing makes the stuff. Having moderators in different time zones is good too, since we can mod at any time.
  6. I think it's safe to say that most regular users here (myself included) have around 1000+ hours of gameplay and play mostly only KSP Welcome to the forums!
  7. Go into map mode (or the Tracking Station), click the info icon on the right, then double click the ship's name. That can rename anything.
  8. Yeah, the green and blue badges prevent us from being snarky here, anymore. Well, except for @Snark, his name says it all
  9. Just wait until you can dock with your eyes closed! That's the beauty of this game, one you master it what was once hard as... well, rocket science, becomes as easy as Pi
  10. @KerbalXcer, @Justin_Kerbal: This is a(n old) question about adding a readout to the console versions, not a discussion of the equations and how to calculate them. If you need help calculating dV, or need to know exactly what it means, I suggest you read these threads that have already been posted on the subject: Or, you could create a thread of your own asking a question.
  11. Agreed. Getting somewhere new is an achievement. Doing the same thing there? Not so much. "I'm Mark Watney, and I just took the first leak on Mars." Funny in the book. Unamusing in KSP
  12. 1) Kinda no, perhaps. Can't be sure, but from the description I think the craft spawned on a highly elliptical (although perfectly OK) Kerbin orbit, but by bad luck ended up in the SOI of Mün (or it's not there yet, but its orbit has an unfortunate encounter). That sort of thing is probably hard to predict beforehand, so as far as it knows the generator is outputting a perfectly valid orbit. 2) I don't think so. Satellite contracts ("reach this orbit") and survey contracts ("do science here") show their waypoints on the Tracking Station, before you accept them. I believe rescues don't, but I am not sure. Open your Tracking Station while the contract is offered, but before you accept it: if you don't see any ships there that aren't yours already, then you're out of luck unfortunately So, in my opinion, it seems like you had really bad luck, and you couldn't have done anything to prevent it. Yeah, space is hard sometimes...
  13. Moved to The Spacecraft Exchange subforum. Hope we get to see your creations soon enough
  14. (mas eu tava só brincando...) Banido por esquecer que ele já teve experiência nisso. É o coroa que sabe dos paranauê
  15. Have you ever played SpaceChem? The scoreboard consists of a histogram of users by score, with a solid line marking your latest score and a dashed line marking your best. Since there are more than one score, you can try to make optimal runs for each score, or try a perfect one and have your latest score very good in all categories. It's really gratifying. In case of KSP, there would probably be scoreboards for each achievement (I'm thinking, World First milestones), with score being time, I guess? There has to be a server for this, tho. And we'll open an ugly can of worms when people start to actually have a point when they talk about cheating in KSP...
  16. Yeah, that's the science message for the "Shores" biome. Pretty hilarious, if you ask me
  17. Thread moved to The Lounge, since it's not about the game itself. Another user had started a channel already, perhaps you'd like to join it?
  18. @Seturian there is an international section in this forum, if you're inclined to talk to other Russian users. Otherwise, please express yourself in english, as per rule 2.4.c.
  19. Olha o que o gato trouxe da rua.. Erhm, quer dizer. Olha o que a rua trouxe do gato? Banido por sumir sem aviso prévio. E aparecer de zueira.
