Agreed! However, I was chastised by @Red Iron Crown a good while ago for mentioning a "martini and cigar". Have the rules regarding alcohol references been relaxed??? Still, I look forward to the next update even if it is to be enjoyed under 'contextual prohibition'.

An interesting question. It depends on how many devs you started with and how many devs joined prior to the 4 devs leaving. If you have 99 devs (can someone start singing please) and 4 leave, then that's not too bad. If you have 1 dev and 4 leave, then you are in "Dev-ecit" which is a very serious and unhappy place. Badum-tish! I'll just let myself out then... Don't forget to tip your remaining Devs...

We are not losing staff. We have grown and continue to grow talent. Look at the great team that has since been assembled (and sourced from the community!) <--- JUST LOOK AT IT!!!! Today KSP development and creative capability has evolved and attenuated itself to an evolving KSP product. Move on people... Nothing to see here... And best of luck to Dan - he's done great job and extended his capability and style in the process. Personally, I like the naive stylishness in the early Kerbal animation, it just works!

Well Done! By "Stock Sized" do you mean its 10x smaller than real? Which would make sense assuming non-real fuels and your launcher size. I could be off-base though. Regardless, I like it!

A possible constructive intervention here would be for a new forum section be established called 'General Complaining". When a complaining thread is discovered, it can be moved into this new section by a moderator. The benefit of this would be that when anyone needs to get their "fix" regarding reading about complaining, they know where to go and that ALL the threads will be there with out the clutter of other non-complaining threads. Also, complaints would then be filtered out of the general discussion section and the propensity of a "fanboy pile-on" suffocating a valid complaint would be reduced. I think this a pretty good idea - with the caveat that there is a bug reporting process and tracker, blah blah blah... just in case someone wants to report details of an error instead of general complaining. All the above said, I do not advocate a clampdown on general complaining - complaints are a good temperature check regarding overall community satisfaction. More complaints helps drive up squads motivation to undertake improvements --> Because many complaints are not just bug related.

I don't go interplanetary, but have been known to go ballistic in a few client meetings. Badum tish! seriously though and on topic... Although having conducted stock missions err... Ok with KER that is, to all the destinations usually via probes etc., frankly, since there is little to do out there, I spend most of my time in the VAB and reverting my launches just tinkering with my designs. My RSS/RO save is a completely different matter. -
Aha! And with this clever question this thread has a slim chance to live again with new and updated information. Uh, unless there is none... i don't think I have seen any references to changes to the basic configuration of the sun Soi and/or the planetary system except to adjustments to atmosphere heights, Densities etc.

I thought they said 2 weeks. I would expect a squeak about something, even a "hi we're back!" message at least a week after returning. Then again, who knows...

Thank you, and yes, I am well aware of it's size, etc. - just curious if you had plans to include it in your expansion mod (nice compilation pic though - very nice!) What I would like to do ---> Manned Eros (433) proposal from 1966 -
Anywhere he wanted! But usually very close to the launch console.

Any interest in adding 433 Eros? Would be interesting to try and attempt the 1966 proposal covering a possible manned flyby in 1975. Not begging, just curious. -
Loss of motivation? I suggest you stop reading and posting on the forum for awhile. That always works for me. But obviously not everyone.

This entire thread could be retitled "The first great forum logical fallacy war". Oh sorry, I think that's happened before so a few more straw soldiers thrown into the trenches won't matter much, so here goes... 1) We love a product? We tend to buy it 2) We love a company? We tend to buy their products and or their stocks in preference to companies we hate 3) We hate a company? Most of the time we tend to avoid buying from them unless forced to do so due to unmitigated needs like survival - unless they are making serious profit and pay great dividends 4) Hate a company, but love their products? Hmmm, guess life is full of compromises. Oh, before I forget: regarding the concept of subpar pay and poor treatment of employees... Suck it up, it's not going to change - ever. It's not about squad, they are just a recent distraction So then, that's me done... Back to lurking. (Cut to scene of straw soldier Michael Cain fumbling with his handgun whilst reloading) -
