  1. INTRODUCTION Hello there, I am the creator of my upcoming AH Timeline "Sunshine Over Lunoxia," and this would be my first Mission Topic in the KSP Forums... So why don't I try to make an AH timeline aspect of myself? But first, however, you can take a look at a bit of history in this nowhere-to-be-completed lore document here. As you can see, the POD for this timeline of mine that I've created revolves around the Maynilakyonese Association - if Colombia stretched from the Siberian Mountains to the Caribbean Islands and was the largest, most diverse, and most powerful country in this TL. Enough for some backstory, I decided to get it done with it all! Where Are We? As of now, I only have two weeks of my school before my mid-term break this December, so maybe during the break, I can be able to make it most of the effort during my school break. Mods I've Used: My Modlist wont be final throughout the story, so there might be some changes (Note: I'm on a computer that balances performance between minimal impact to high effort, so some mods are excluded to prevent my game from crashing.) But here they are! (As of December 3, 2024): Inspirations: I would like to @GoldForest, and @AmateurAstronaut1969, for their original works right here: But... As well as a bunch of other timelines I've got to make my AH Timeline! Where Next? TBD (To Be Determined) I Hope you Enjoy... (and remember, this is just my first KSP mission post series, so please be gentle!)

I intend for this to be the final major release of HabTech2 prior to shifting focus onto KSP2. I'm really pleased to have finally completed the ISS in time, after many years of work. This latest update started in mid 2019 - it has been a mammoth amount of work. I am hopeful that some of this work will be able to be transferred into KSP2 and take advantage of the potential massive increase in graphical capability (& stability with large vessels) that will bring. That being said, while I don't intend to add any new parts to HabTech2 from here on out, I will continue to support the mod and address any bugs or issues, as well as updating any dependencies as required. Thank you for your support over the years - I have loved working on this mod and getting feedback from all of you. It is a long journey and I am glad to have finally reached the destination, but a new journey is just about to begin. See you there. 4. A video showcasing the KoS script I have to orbit the shuttle. It takes it from the pad all the way to circular orbit. Then we fly it back to the island runway!
  5. An introduction In the 1980s, NASA proposed a concept for a permanently crewed Earth orbiting space station, dubbed Space Station Freedom. Freedom would be the US counterpart to the Russian Mir. But as time went on, and support for the idea dwindled, space station freedom was canned. Luckily, this concept would eventually evolve into the International Space Station that we have today, which you can find here documented in @Kuiper_Belt and @lemon cup's wonderful thread ISS Adventures! I decided to create this thread, to document the construction of my own version of the power tower concept. So where to begin As this is my first post and because I haven't made KSP images properly for people to see before, I am going to be starting of with some shuttle images I've created over the past few days. If you have any suggestions about where you would like to se me take this thread and how to improve it, don't hesitate to tell me! Thanks I'd like to give a huge thanks to @lemon cup for giving me advice on starting this thread, he is a HUGE inspiration to me and if you haven't seen his images, they're simply stunning. I would also like to credit some other creators who have greatly inspired me, so I highly recommend you check out their threads too! @Jay The Amazing Toaster with the awesome Kānāwai: Ares to Mars! @AmateurAstronaut1969 with the fantastic ETS Space Station Freedom! @Kuiper_Belt with the amazing Shuttle Adventures! Enjoy! The maiden launch of Space Shuttle Adventure on STS-10
  6. The next generation of space exploration. Our First Step II is designed by the international space community on Earth. Kerbals come together and make diagrams, planning what the station might look like in the future. The station is designed to be a safe haven for LEO crews and even a gateway to other near-Earth locations. Launch of Orbital Core 1 [OC1] Vehicle: Falcon Heavy Date: August 16, 2005 T+00:00:01 - Liftoff! T+00:03:23 - MECO & stage sep. followed by fairing sep. T+00:07:20 - SECO, preliminary insertion complete. T+00:10:19 - Payload separation. The next mission wouldn't be until 2011 — the space agency was more interested in other things but we're back to launching modules!
  7. I would like to classify the space stations and their designers into 4 levels. LV1 Space station “Cell”. Their designers are beginner LV2 Space station “Gateway”. Their designers are veterans LV3 Space station “Atoll”. Their designers are geniuses LV4 Space station “Kingdom”. Their designers can be called as gods The classification criteria will be explained below. The LV1 space stations can be called the "Cell" type. They are single or tandem-linked space stations, usually with 1-2 main docking ports. They correspond to the first and second generation space stations in the real world. These stations can be launched with a single rocket or SSTO without the need for orbital assembly. Launching these space station is challenge for beginners. I need to explain the term, "main" docking ports, which are defined as ports directly facing away from the mass center of the station. These ports are special because they could reduce the degree of freedom during docking, making it possible for spacecrafts to dock when they are still rotating with each other. The LV2 space stations are the "Gateway" type. These are XYZ three-axis modular (such as the Mir space station) or truss-type (such as the International Space Station) space stations with 3-6 main docking ports. They are generally launched in multiple segments by ordinary rockets or SSTOs and assembled in orbit. Designers of this type of space station can be called veterans. The LV3 space stations are called the "Atoll" type. This is a type of ring-shaped or disk-shaped space station with a large artificial gravity device installed, such as the Deep Space Nine in <Star Trek> or ticonderoga in <starship troopers>. These stations are generally launched as a whole by a super-heavy monster rocket. They serves as a busy spacecraft hub with more (>6) main docking ports on the equatorial plane of their disk-shaped station body, making it possible for many spacecrafts to dock at the same time. Players who can independently design this type of space station can be called geniuses.
  8. The Idea: The International Space Station is one of humanities greatest achievements. Like many others I love the ISS, mods and Kerbal Space Program, naturally you would mix all 3. A little over a year ago I began an endeavor to accurately construct the ISS in order and document it on reddit. Since then time has passed and I have vastly improved in my ship creation and screenshot taking skills. I knew when I stopped the first time I'd revisit the idea and now is the time! The goal of this whole thing is to use Kerbal Space Program and a vast library of mods to document every flight to the ISS and its construction in order. Myself@lemon cup and @D0m1nu2 work hard on this project and we're very excited to work on documenting the sheer greatness that surrounds the ISS and it's missions! My Inspiration: The idea isn't original and born of several things including another series I created focusing on Shuttle Missions called Shuttle Adventures! These missions are created by not only myself but other like minded Kerbal players. But the Idea isn't mine by any means and I feel inclined to credit those who inspired me, If you like anything I've done you'll certainly enjoy what they've done. @Jay The Amazing Toaster with Kānāwai: Ares to Mars Kevin Gustafson and his amazing among other things ISS & Mir documentaries on Youtube @winged and his amazing among other things Constellation Mars video @Zorg @alberro+and @Pioneer_Stevefor dazzling me with their magnificent screenshots @AmateurAstronaut1969 and their fantastic series on the ETS Space Station Freedom @Jacktical and their awesome series on the IRL concept of Space Station Freedom that goes by the name of Space Station Liberty @D0m1nu2 and their excellent International Manned Laboratory series, a recreation of International Skylab conducted in RSS! @Aviation365 and their wonderful series Go At Throttle Up, an RSS/RO depiction of Shuttle Flights both real and fictional, while obeying Shuttle parameters. The progenitor to this series, Shuttle Adventures, An Album of Kerbalized Space Shuttle Missions, containing real, proposed, canceled and other Shuttle related missions. You can find that here: Mods: Since the inception of Shuttle Adventures the mod list has grown slowly over time and I've tried to keep up with updating the mod list. that will be include in the spoiler below the list of highlighted mods. @benjee10 With Redirect, Habtech 2, and SOCK @DylanSemrau With Photon Corp @Beale With Tantares @tony48 With KSRSS & KSRSSVE And the ReStock team with of course Restock Thanks to those who interact and follow this series! We've been working hard and having a great time making it!
  9. After exploring over 30 asteroids, I finally found a violet C-class magic asteroid. Then, I spent three weekends designing my first LV4 space station. The classification of space stations was described in this post. Or it might be a station between LV3 and LV4. In order to run it smoothly on my laptop, I only use stock + DLC parts without tweakscale and tried to limit the design to below 1000 parts. Meanwhile, I hope it could be one of the most epic and elegant space stations in KSP ever. At a lab meeting a month ago, I drew the first draft of the space station with pencil. In the game, it finally looks like this. [Assamble test on the Kerbin orbit] [It circles around a comet] I have designed other two smaller LV3 types of stations before. Together with this station, they all look similar. I call them the "Quasar" type space station. Their "accretion disks" consist of artificial gravity living rings and a docking ring. Their "jet streams" are the stator working area of the station.
  10. PROJECT CITADEL purpose: -Kerbal XP and science space station -First space station on Duna orbit for the kotius program T H E C I T A D E L crew capacity: 29 power generation: a pair of OKEB-250 "Ares" ROSAs from NF solar modules: 6 (+ crewed spacecraft) artificial gravity modules: 2 landers (occasionally and/or ascent stages): 1 etc. etc. I ran out of module ideas after getting a Duna lander mods used: Tantares spacecraft NF solar, NFLV, NF props, NF spacecraft SSPEr ReStock

  12. Hi guys! This time I made 5M science only from the Mun. Enjoy the video:) And I'm looking for someone to write down a sentence for the flag. Please comment down below. Also hope you guys subscribe to my channel. That's what motivates me:)
  13. Hi guys! I made a video of making 500,000 science only from 2 biomes at Mun!! This video is the first part where I send a Space Station to the Mun. Here's the link for the video:) Enjoy!
  14. What's the concept about? The main Idea comes from a fictionalized type of environment mixed with real world assets, NASA, ESA and others. But my main inspiration came from a fellow use in the Forum and Filmmaker @Aluminum Oxide (Highly recommend watching his KSP Videos, they are very fun and also have story in them!) Aluminum used alot of real world assets in his videos along with his creativity and storyline which created a very nice environment for his videos, Overall It's a mix between Real-Life and Alternate History. What mods are being used? As the Mod's list is pretty big, I'm only going to list the main ones that I'm using; -CX Aerospace | For the Station Parts -Habtech 1 (Keep In mind that I'm using some very old mods, and I highly recommend that you do not install these on your KSP) -Real Scale Boosters -Phoenix Industries | For the Space Suits, Greenhouse and other Rocket parts. -Near Future Solar | For the shiny solar panels! The reason that I use some old mods is mainly because my laptop is not very powerful to run Graphic Intesive/Texture Intesive ones, Although some of them are actually up-to-date and can be used normally on 1.8.1-1.9.1. Inspiration and Credits I would like to credit @Aluminum Oxide for not only the Storywriting but also the Crafts that he built in KSP since they're pretty awesome! Check out his Youtube Channel; https://www.youtube.com/c/AluminumOxide/videos (You should also check his Wiki too, It contains alot of stuff from his KSP Storyline.) Enough Information for now, Let's get onto the Lore... It is the Year 2002, Daniel Carmack, Founder and CEO of NeXT Computing intiated a Private Alliance of which many countries and Agencies can take part of. John McNathan, a rich investor from the Sillicon valley decides to be the first Commercial crew-member of the Project and is set to be aboard no longer than 2009, once work is done on the Station. Also with this many countries such as, USA, Russia, Canada, Brazil, United Kingdom, South Korea have clarified that they are going to be involved in the Project. The Infrastructure is set up in a way that allows it to not only be a Research Laboratory but also a Workshop and Workspace for various uses, either for Biology, Medicine, Engineering as part of the work environment. Although there have been many setbacks, most resources are available and cost less than they used too back in the Skylab/Mir Era. In July 17th of 2003 a meeting was held with the Administrators of each Agency, all countries and Agencies agreed that each one would cooperate into making sure that the project was viable and had a solid foundation. And so In the year 2005, Daniel Carmack founded Oracle Aerospace which would take care of building Private modules and a major part of the Space Station which would be named " Odyssey Space WorkStation ". In the Same Year, NASA and Oracle Aerospace are currently preparing to launch the first module on the Saturn IB Rocket on a Mission named " A New Odyssey " . Odyssey Core Module | In-Construction - 07/02/2005 For those who like my Story, consider sharing or even commenting, I'll be sure to answer questions when I can!
  15. Welcome! Glad you stopped by here, as some of you may know my space agency, CASO has launched the CSL space station (pictured below), it will server as a long term pitstop, lab and housing for kerbals. it currently doesn't not have a built in laboratory, which is where you come in. You are too create a laboratory to be mounted on the CSL! Rules and guidelines The lab must be 2.5 meters in diameter The lab must have at least 1 standard clamp-o-tron docking port The lab must have science (duh) No mods at all, DLC is fine All participants must send either a workshop link or a craft file to their lab. The lab must be compatible with the science level below: Judging will be based on Science equipment, Aesthetics, Features and functionality Deadline is August 1st The winner will have their module launched to the CSL Good luck! and may the best aerospace engineer win!
  16. My station has parts out of place, some missing, and some parts are floating, the docking ports are pushed out, or inside the core part, I just don't know how to fix it, I've tried to reload the save, go back to earlier ones, go to tracking station and back, I just don't know Does anybody know what this is and how to fix it?
  17. i need the smallest rocket picture (cats count as rockets too)
  18. The task is to add modules to the Kerbal XX space station in low orbit around Kerbin. Note that certain modules will already be added, such as the crew module and cupola. But other than that, start building! (Lucida Sans Unicode for LIFE) My module: Life support module (You obviously need that to survive!)
  19. Hey I'm Dom, I'm trying to get more noticed on the internet, and i want to share my space station designs as well as seeing others. Also if you have any advice on getting bigger on forums/youtube, that would be appreciated.
  20. the title says it all, im looking for professionals who can build epic space stations to collab with me and other professionals who can take kerbals to every single planet in the kerbolar system, if you want to collab with me you will need, restock, restock+, space station expansion parts redux, and planetary base systems. The space station will take kerbals to everywhere and jebidiah will land on every single one of the kerbolar planets, i know this is quite a bit of a challenge as i can just do it myself with a ion powered craft but i want to explore the kerbolar system in style, think about this, would you rather go to laythe in a boring old cramped spacecraft or would you go in a gigantic mothership that has alot of space, and plenty of things to do for the kerbals, you can use visual mods like scatterer if you like but thats pretty much it, im hoping we can get into a group chat and once its done we could stream it live on twitch, invite your friends to come see, and it will be split into 4 parts and the final craft cant be more than 1200 parts if its more than 1200 parts then im gona ask someone else (with a better pc) to fly the craft anyways i hope we can get into a group chat and build the station of our dreams.

Hello, I'm trying to make a cinematic video on the ESA moon space station and landing envisioning around 2008: I managed to found this two link: http://esamultimedia.esa.int/docs/exploration/ReferenceArchitecture/Final ReviewJan09/04_Human_moon_mission_version9esa120109.pdf http://esamultimedia.esa.int/docs/exploration/IntlExplorationArchitectures/IntegratedArchReview/Exploration_architecture_Study_Draft_v9web_version.pdf I also find this link who doesn't work anymore, if someone has working up to date working link it's will be cool: http://spaceflight.esa.int/strategy/pages/PDF/home/events/integrated_architecture_review/7_july/03.Integrated_Architecture.pdf http://spaceflight.esa.int/strategy/pages/PDF/home/events/integrated_architecture_review/7_july/07.Joint_CAA_Overview.pdf http://spaceflight.esa.int/strategy/pages/PDF/home/events/integrated_architecture_review/7_july/10.European_Strategic_Priorities.pdf http://spaceflight.esa.int/strategy/pages/PDF/home/events/integrated_architecture_review/7_july/International_Architecture_Splinter_Session/ESA_Yoder_Standards_ESA_Format.pdf http://spaceflight.esa.int/strategy/pages/PDF/home/events/integrated_architecture_review/8_July/01.Human_mission_to_LEO.pdf http://spaceflight.esa.int/strategy/pages/PDF/home/events/integrated_architecture_review/8_July/02.Man_Tended_Station_ESA.pdf http://spaceflight.esa.int/strategy/pages/PDF/home/events/integrated_architecture_review/8_July/Splinter_Session_Role_of_the_Moon/03_Moon_Mars_Synergies.pdf http://spaceflight.esa.int/strategy/pages/PDF/home/events/integrated_architecture_review/8_July/05.Automated_Moon_and_Mars_Surface_Exploration.pdf http://spaceflight.esa.int/strategy/pages/PDF/home/events/integrated_architecture_review/8_July/06. 22. YO! In this time of solitude, I bring to you: M.O.R.P.H.E.U.S. Moho Operational Research Permanent Habitation Experiment Utility Station The KSC has kindly asked Jeb and co. to put together a Moho research base, so this is what I'm told they came up with: To get the job done, we'll need some serious rocketry to get everything into orbit that we need: From left to right: The MORPHEUS Core, the MORPHEUS External Modules, the MORPHEUS Drive Stage, the Verdon S4, the Verdon Crew Habitation Module, and the Moho Lander. For more info on the Verdon S4 and the Verdon Crew Habitation Module, check out the main post: All MORPHEUS craft can be downloaded at: https://kerbalx.com/hangars/98426 All Verdon craft can be download at: https://kerbalx.com/hangars/97494
  23. It seems to me that there aren't enough space stations like the ISS in KSP's community. The ISS has modules made from all over the world. Wouldn't it be a great idea to do the same, but in KSP? What should it be called? I want to see a project like this come to fruition. FYI, I use 1.4.4.
