GoldForest
@CobaltWolf Would you be willing to do the Apollo Block I umbilical? The one where it was in the front and was more of a break-away connector instead of a rotate out of the way connector? I found a few good images of the CM side connector here: Apollo 6 - Imgur Though, this is the only SM side connector photo I could find: ap6-68-HC-201HR.jpg (1200×1772) (nasa.gov) I found a picture of a model someone made too, though don't know how accurate it is: DSCF6732.JPG (800×600) (ipms-farnborough.co.uk) Also, could we get white RCS blocks, white Docking Floodlight and white EVA light? The grays kind of clash with the all-white Apollo CSM . I also have a balancing query. Shouldn't the 200 series APS pod for the S-IVB be lighter than the 500 series APS pod? The 200 APS has 1 less RCS engine, and is a little smaller than the 500 APS Same with the Saturn V interstage, shouldn't the shorter version be lighter and the longer version heavier? 3 hours ago, JoeSheridan said: Just a little??? Well done TBH, I wasn't watching the docking, was off doing something else. Mechjeb handled the docking. I saw it when I came back and panicked a little before realizing it was docked, so the panic when out the door quite quickly. Keep this stuff coming, most of the values for weight and cost and stuff like that were never adjusted as configs were duplicated+modified. Pudgemountain
Pictures of a Manned Moho flyby and Manned Gilly Landing both separate missions but use the same type of ship. A Gemini capsule strapped to a Saturn V. I still love the Gemini nose camera. Other than the Solar panels all parts are Gemini and Apollo era hardware. Philgun Kerman learned the hard way that when exiting a lander on Gilly the the ship will fly a few feet.

Stock sized system with OPM and Extrasolar. As much as I would love to build a monster rocket I am trying to save money to build a Nuclear Pulse probe that can go to a new star system. The 200 APS has 1 less RCS engine, and is a little smaller than the 500 APS This is correct, and I’d also like to note that the 200-series S-IVBs themselves were a fair bit lighter than the 500-series one, mainly because of weight reductions in structural areas like the forward and aft skirts. This is according to Stages to Saturn, which I’m reading through at the moment. Maybe if that could be reflected in some way it would alleviate the problems so many are having with Saturn IB’s performance.

I think it's a mix of people forgetting to switch the PVG most of the time or pushing the Saturn IA/B too far, as well as putting too much weight on the Apollo CSM. I can easily make 120 x 120, and that's with Mechjeb doing that over shooting periapsis burn thing. Probes plus has a good looking Voyager though. Edited April 12, 2022 by GoldForest

DaveyJ576
1001... A BDB Odyssey! Anyway, if NASA had actually built and flown the Big Gemini, it seems to me they would have picked a more dignified name for it other than "Big Gemini". What should it have been called? @CobaltWolf, @Zorg BTW this is my 2nd test flight, and I can confirm that the 2.5m decoupler works, but it seems to have zero push force in it. The umbilical flaps come open and it seems as if I can see a sliver of light between the heatshield and the decoupler, but it doesn't go anywhere. If I tap the RCS the movement of the spacecraft will then throw off the retro section so I know it has detached.
