Well, even my civilian candyS knew the difference between a Marine DI and an Army drill sergeant, and Sarge Kerman is neither. As one might expect, though, KSMC is a just little less disciplined than the USMC. So, Sarge will continue to be called Sarge by most of his colleagues... it is his first name, after all. All very well. I'm just flattered to think that I've now been responsible for 2 temporary subtitles of this thread
Martian Music
That was so fun to read. Sorry if I missed it but is it continued? And if so where can I read the rest? On a side note I wish I could read these musical notes. I mean I learned guitar the hard, unofficial way ;p

Hi Martian Music! The most up-to-date comic page was actually posted the same day as your own post, so just keep an eye on this thread - the Kerbfleet saga is being actively written and developped as we speak. Thank you!) I guess you know where to find all the rest of the Kerbfleet comics there are There's a list of chapters in recommended reading order in the OP of each of the prior two books. 1 hour ago, Deddly said: Hi Martian Music! Martian Music
Thank you both yeah Kuzzter I read the entire Duna story in a couple hours, lovely ending! I did follow the order so I have a few Eve chapters left, gonna read them soon. I'm in love with these stories, you are truly amazing! Keep on making them, I literally can't wait! Hey in the future consider adding Munnie Kerman, he's my favorite ;p he's not a badS, yet he acts like one xD As for the bilingual bonus, fair enough! I can still fit in some chords anyways ;p my signature, damn I laughed at loud at the positive thing xD there are countless funny/great moments but you know, signature cap ;p Get the Jool Odyssey done! Consider me a big fan of yours haha 1 hour ago, Deddly said: Welcome to the Kerbfleet speculation forums Thank you ;p Edited December 17, 2015 by Martian Music

Normally I like to provide comics the way people take their coffee: daily. But things are getting busy 'round here. I was able to get in some more testing--I believe the Tylo, Laythe and mining/resupply landers are DONE, next step is docking trials but for that I need to build enough of a big ship to dock to. Also, there's this whole Christmas thing coming up. Anyway, here's a teaser: Hm. What can we see here? Six fuel cell arrays, four aerospikes... and a paaaaartridge in a Mk2 caaabbbinnnnnn!! Dman979
But is there a coffee machine? This late at night, you'd need one.
Martian Music
Ooh just finished Order Zero. Hey how long did it take you to construct that courtroom? Looked great anyways ;p The time spent reading the stories was so worth it (I'm a bit slow I know, about 5 hours for Duna's and Eve's). Let's spend even more on Jool's! Starhawk
Well, I can sure understand Bill's frustration. It hurts when you engineer something and engineer it and engineer it and then it fails to work exactly how you envisioned at the beginning of the process. With input from the rest of the team, I'm sure many of the design issues are being ironed out. Love Clauselle's line. She's great. Once again - Thank You! Happy Concerned landings! For my whole career I've never been the smartest person in the room, in any technical discipline. But I've quite often been the second or third smartest in EVERY discipline, and can put things together that the smart people can't. Quite often they're too close to the problem to realize that the solution lies in redefining it--challenging the parameters--changing the rules of the game. And THAT's why a Kerbfleet senior officer pulls a shift slinging drinks in the Officers' Club: Leadership! That, and I really didn't want to Kerbalize Whoopi Goldberg. Really these last few pages are an analogue for what I've learned about these craft from others on the Forum. I especially got a lot out of @Mikki's Floatplane To Orbit challenge. And the discussion about power on this thread really helped me to see where I needed to go if I wanted to make a single-stage Tylo lander. The result... well, you'll see

Enough of a generalist to understand the connections between things which the specialists gloss over or treat as 'black boxes'. A modern Renaissance Man. After all, how many people can be both good engineers and good writers? Oh, well I guess there are a few in the fan works section here... Still, how many are engineers IRL? Happy landings! Angelo Kerman
@StarhawkI'm an iOS software engineer IRL, and I know well Bill's frustration. I had one project where management wanted a miracle in a month and it forced us to cut corners to meet the deadline, with management fully aware and accepting the limitations. A year later, new team members were lambasting the poor quality of the product with no acknowledgement of the long hours and hard work we put in to make the thing work to begin with in an unreasonable timeframe (including management who were well aware of the issues). And that is really irritating. My experience shows that you have three pillars of engineering: time to market, features, and quality. Pick two, and accept the consequences of not having the third. Too many startups can't or won't do that and immediately blame the engineers. Hopefully Bill's bosses are much more supportive. Sorry for the mini rant, maybe it'll be helpful for story purposes. Anyway, that's why I like working on my mods; they're done when I say they're done, and I've learned to not rush things. Mad Rocket Scientist
Alright, I'll transcribe these too. LATER: KERBFLEET OFFICERS' CLUB: Bill: Gimme another. Val: No way, Bill. You've had enough. BIll: Hey, I'm trying to drown my sorrows here! Val: And I'm trying to make sure I fly isn't designed 'under the influence'! Bill: Well, that's the problem, isn't it Val? Nothing I design works. Bill: ...my Longboat almost killed Sarge, the Laythe plane doesn't fit in the hangar. And I haven't even started on the- Val: You need help. Bill: This again? Lay off, Val- I am not going to Hydrazinics Anonymous! Val: That's not what I'm talking about! I mean you don't have to do this alone. We're a team, Bill. Talk to the others. Find out about their ideas-and then get back in the VAB and build me something awesome! Bill: Hmm... New page: In the SPH, looking at Laythe plane. Dilsby: It was really close, Bill. The wings just need to move in. Jeb: And I bet it could go a lot faster in the water without those pontoons! In the VAB, looking at.... The Longboat? Bob: The main concern is energy. That little ISRU unit draws too much power for what it puts out-you won't net enough to run the fuel cells! Clauselle: Precisement. So, how do you say? You must 'go big' or you will not go home, n'est-ce pas? New page: AND A FEW DAYS (AND A FEW DRINKS) LATER... Scene: at the launchpad. Gene: Agenda One docking target flight controllers-give me a go/ no-go for launch! Dilsby: I really I hope I live to regret this... As always, we open with a song this is Kuzzter's work and genius.
