krblman Posted January 19, 2022 Share Posted January 19, 2022 I have been trying to create planets this way for 2 months now and every single time the planet either doesn't appear at all, it appears but the surface is purple, or some other random problem. Watermel00n Posted February 4, 2022 Share Posted February 4, 2022 Maybe its a problem with your scaled space. Normal maps can be hard sometimes. I recommend you save your color files if they are .dds files with DXT5 compression, and DXT5nm for normal maps. The heightmap should be greyscale color, not RGB. Good luck! I'm satisfied with the color but want it to look more vibrant and "Soupier", it looks okayish at the very low altitudes but fades away into black nothingness too quickly during accent despite the static pressure being really high.
