Most of these thoughts did not form under a shower.

The substance of the recent shower thought had to be split off into it's own thread, continue the discussion of that topic there:

To indicate why your post now seemed a touch out of place.   Those two quotes are the ones I left in this thread, as they still refer to shower thoughts.

It doesn't though. It's a shower thought pointing out that most shower thoughts (including that one) didn't come to life under a shower, what

Why when you go outside do your eyes hurt and everything is so bright, only to then become less bright and you can see?

Because your pupils contract to let less light through.  This is why the dot in the middle of your eye changes size.

Because your pupils are wide open initially, letting a lot of light in, making it seem very bright, but eventually your pupils contract, letting less light in, making it seem dimmer, and easier to see.

Cats do the same thing

Because you're going outside from a dark area during the daytime, and then the sun sets.

A local  Radio station is pushing for daylight savings time to take effect at 4 PM on Friday. So you can imagine how that will work. At 4 o’clock it becomes 5 o’clock and it’s time to go home for the weekend. Yaaaay!

This is a FANtastic idea!!!!!

Lets just keep the autumn on in the weekend...
