AlamoVampire
I play pokemon go to try to relax but its becoming harder. I am finding it harder and harder to play it. Why? Cheaters. Im playing by the rules but in the last 3-4 months in particular i have run into no less than 30 accounts that are gps spoofing, time spoofing (placing pokemon into gyms while i have battle winner priority or during the 10 minute battle lock out or feeding more candies to a pokemon than is permitted), running shared accounts or multiple accounts (ive seen players that are 100% alone add 2, 3, or 4 pokemon accounts to gyms), and offering for sale modded software to permit the above AND avoid cheat detection. I report this crap again and again and again with evidence that would meet beyond a reasonable doubt level of clarity in a criminal trial but do they punish the offending players? No. Im getting sick of it. Ive played for over half a decade but im ready to quit. what would YOU do in my place? Quit? Or? 203411102024 im done. I quit. Im an honest player but cheaters took a relaxing game away. I stalked a gym just now that has one side in a park that closes at sunset and one side with a street access. I watched the cheat gps spoof in, take it and vanish. I fight gyms in a specific way. I fight single target burn down, meaning i fight 1 until i kill it. Rinse repeat. I did just that. Took out an aggron or however its spelled then fought a snorlax. I was the only player there. The game limits you to 10 candies in 30 minutes. The snorlax was ALONE yet get fed 13 candies in under 7 minutes from them. So keeping score? Gps spoofing, time spoofing candy restrictions. Im sick of it. I cant play a game where cheaters wont face consequences. Avoid pokemon go. 224011102024 Edited November 11 by AlamoVampire

Otherwise all the kicksharing start-ups and food delivery services (which rely on electric bikes) will be out of business.

Was this behavior standard practice before the recent tragedy? If you ever need to vent... we're here. Heck.. you wanna talk HMU. We can Skype if you are international. I have an awesome app that puts a thousand meetings at my fingertips. From NA to grief councilors. Please where reflective gear while riding at night. AlamoVampire
@Fizzlebop Smith the bicyclists are unrelated to my mothers passing or anything like that. The day i posted about the bicyclist one crossed right in front of me as i was coming to a stop. They were on the sidewalk headed opposite the direction of travel for cars and caused me to nearly hit them. Then acted like it was my fault. Cyclists here are just nuts in general. Especially since i travel back roads mostly and am far enough outside the city to be more country than suburbs if that makes sense. Funny thing is until after my mom passed id not encountered more than maybe 20 cyclists (most following the rules of the road) total in the last 3-4 years combined, then suddenly they hit near plague numbers lol. I myself have not been on a bike in over 2.5 decades. Just reread my post writing this and i think you misread it. I was describing the bicycles not myself beyond nearly hitting the dipstick that triggered my post. But as to venting? I honestly feel like the universe became a bit more spiteful/hateful of me as it claimed my mom. I feel more beaten up than i have in a while. 224511152024

But, yet, the consequences would be vastly less deadly then otherwise. I was a urbane cyclist about a decade ago in Sao Paulo, way before the bike lanes were implemented around here. And let me tell you something, I had seen some really near misses right on front of me - like when once a bus pushed a woman into the sidewalk making her to fall pretty nastily. She got hurt, and one of the guys that were cycling with her pursued the maniac, and was almost killed too because the bus driver tried to push him the same, but into the faster lane on the street. Had anyone be driving behind them, the cyclist would be dead. Problem: the bus had to stop on a red signal and... Boy... I will let what happened after to the reader's imagination. Then the bike lanes were created, and everything would be fixed, right? (sigh). Nope. Now motorcycles speed up on the bike lines unchecked, and even some small cars do it sometimes. It's literally safer to bike on the slow lane, but not so safe as on the sidewalk because now and then some maniac like that bus driver I mentioned above shows up. Me? I stopped biking. I'm not suicidal. Edited November 17 by Lisias Now it was the autocomplete! I swear!!!
AlamoVampire
Ugh. I feel so stupid. I foolishly gave niantic labs a second chance after what happened on nov 10. I thought they removed that cheater from the game. Then i saw the cheater and its alt remained unpunished. Im sick of seeing cheaters go unpunished. Im so sick of it. Delete pokemon go, avoid it. Its a hive of scum and villainy where honesty and integrity have no place. <screams into the void> 200511192024
Lisias
The original Internet Protocols were created by engineers that were worried about how their grand-kids would be able to use it in the decades to come, prioritizing long term availability over short term costs. Nowadays? The ... hum.... "encrapification" had reached the Internet Infrastructure. In a matter of years we will not be able to talk to each other, except under the walled garden of whoever will manage to pull the competitor's rug first. Do you think your browser's code is crappy? I finally got screwed by my eternal postponing maintenance of my home (initially schedule to be done in 2020, but... Pandemonium happened). Now I lost 2 days of work and paid a beefier bill by not had done it before. Irony: I was planning to do that this holidays. Oh, well... I can't even curse my luck, because things were going to get eve worse later. Count your blessings. And schedule that maintenance.

AlamoVampire
so im updating elite dangerous thanks to a patch that dropped thursday morning UK time and i go to play solitaire whilst waiting. what makes that a negative thing? well, i was forced into watching an ad for who knows what, but, the fact I was forced into watching an ad on solitaire just hit me wrong. i dont know if its the fact that ads are becoming ever more intrusive into life <youtube with its 5-10 mandatory ads prior to skips in longer videos with fewer so called ad breaks as an example> or the fact that i am subconsciously looking for something to lash out at as my first thanksgiving approaches with out my mom or that im seeing so much injustice in this world both on the larger stage and smaller stage or the fact that im seeing cheaters be given the green light to do as they please or what but im getting sick and tired of this kinda thing you know? 083011232024 083311232024 Edited November 23 by AlamoVampire
