i build and landed my first mun rover and i found something strange after a short drive. it is a statue of the apollo moon lander which says neil armstrong 1930 2012 and has an american flag. the biome is muns northwest crater and my landing place is 2 small overlapping craters. is this an easter egg or something like that?

Easter egg. There's many of them around in the system

Yeah, i still have not found that one. @minerbat  if you ever find other easter eggs put the location in a spoiler(if you put the location in a post).

There are lots of easter eggs, usually called 'anomalies', scattered around the system. You can find them with KerbNet or with mods like SCANSat, and some of them give you rewards.

There are fixed-position Black Monoliths on almost every body, and sometimes more than one. There are random-position Green Monoliths, one per body and randomly generated, which unlock a tech tree node for you.

All the other anomalies are fixed-position, and are mostly on Kerbin and the Mun, and a couple are on  Duna. Off the top of my head:

Spoiler

Kerbin: Lots of Black monoliths, a flying saucer, the desert temples, Baikerbanur

Mun: Armstrong monument, Mun arches, another saucer, some Munoliths

Duna: SSTV pyramid, Face, camera-arm, some Monoliths

Tylo: some Caves

Bop: a dead FEAR THE KRAKEN.

i found a black monolith near KSC

That one's visible without even going into the game.

I found one on the Mun, in one of the Midlands Craters just to the south-southeast of the big northwestern crater. Wasn't even looking for it, it was my first lander probe for that particular biome in my current save. Later visited it with a manned mission as well.

I don't think there are any monoliths on Jool, but maybe there are, just nobody's discovered them yet...

Good point, they would have to float if they existed and they'd be impossible to reach :P

Not impossible, just very, very difficult.  You can go into the atmosphere. , and fly, you just cant go below the nonexistent ground

Use the breaking Ground ducted fans to make a drone

You can make an airplane (easier than a drone to fly), send a winged rocked down, the is a mod which makes airships possible, etc.  No lack of methods to try.

Just very difficult to pull off

FYI I prefer playing stock, as I’ve tried airship mods and they are hard to use and control. And airplanes would have to be rocket powered to fly, unless it was a glider. Drones on the other hand... not sure about you, but are easier for me.

You can use electric props on an airplane, or even use the fans on an airplane.  Will probably use less ec than a drone on the same size

Electric propellers and ducted fans (both stock in 1.18.x and/or Breaking Ground expansion) work anywhere there's enough air to bother.  Eve.  Duna.  Laythe.  And certainly Jool.  You'd probably need an RTG to provide power for the electric motors, since Jool is a long way from the sun and bringing LF/O for fuel cells seems less efficient.  I agree with @linuxgurugamer that the same EC rate would let you lift more mass with wings than with thrust hover like a drone.  You can also build stock helicopters without all the gyrations, BTW, their power efficiency ought to be somewhere between a quadcopter and a fixed wing airplane.
