Who wants kerbal helmets to smash if you hit the ground hard enough?

Before the parachutes the Kerbium helmets were the only way to save a falling Kerbal.

And, well, for me they still are as I keep forgetting about the personal chutes.

I'm not sure it would be very comforting to have a whole bunch of dead kerbals lying around the ground with their helmets smashed.

As a difficulty option though.

Maybe an intermediate cosmetic-only setting of a cracked and leaking visor too.

I'd enjoy it if the helmet cracked, but then I'd also like Kerbals to vomit inside their helmets, so I'm probably a minority.

They always drop on their head. Kinda like the sandwich on the spread side. And cats on their feet. There's gotta be some correlation I'm missing...

If throw a Kerbal against a wall, he should crash the wall like a stone from catapult.
He may lose the helmet.
