However, as soon as you do so the floor tilts up, sending you falling down the stairs. Determined to continue your climb, you climb back up. However, a hole opens up in the floor where your standing, causing you to fall down onto the next floor, where another hole appears sending you down to the next floor, etc. After falling for thirty minutes and several thousand floors, you finally reach the very bottom. Undaunted, you start climbing up the stairs to get to the first floor and continue your climb again, but you see an elevator that you somehow never saw before. Filled with triumph, you climb into the elevator, but to your dismay all the buttons above floor 2963 are broken, so the elevator is useless. Suddenly a spot of light appears on the floor ahead. Voices in the darkness beckon you to step in to it. You ask "why?" The voices say "So that we may see the hero that has made it this far." Tentatively you move in to the light and ask "Who are you?" They reply "We are the council of the building. We observe the progress of any who venture up through our floors." "We have watched your journey and shared in your adventures as if you were a Holovision Star." "We have been impressed with all you have done and would like to give you gifts for your journey going forward." Suddenly the room lights up and you are surrounded by people in party hats, there are decorations and a big table with treats and a huge cake. Each in turn shakes you by the hand and congratulates you. You get to enjoy the cake and play party games like pass the parcel. After many hours the party starts to wrap up and you are presented with a bag of holding (you are told it could hold the contents of an entire room and that it is stocked with essentials, including a portable toilet.) They also give you an electronic book called "The Floor Hikers Guide to the Gargantuan" It has big friendly letters on the cover that say "Don't Panic" You thank them for their hospitality and start your way back up.
