Ok, both types of engineers mean: Train driver (engineer) and the buildy/mechanically engineer.

If you were around for the change in forum software your rank will have "stuck" at whatever it was then. I think just deleting it in your profile makes it go back to whatever it should be.

Where? I have never seen anything in my settings. Is that option only available to people with  a "3 dot" rank and over?

No, you should be able to do it. Go to your profile, click to edit, then type something in the member title box.
