  2. I've noticed a few people on this forum play Ace Combat games (like five lol) and I also noticed that you could make threads about specific games here. Seeing as there is no dedicated Ace Combat thread, I made this for Ace Combat players to talk about... well, Ace Combat and such. How do you do the campaign, what's your go-to fighter and special weapon, etc. Ace Combat is a series of games that take place in the alternate universe of Strangereal. Strangereal's Earth has different continents and countries. The player's character is a "silent protagonist" and is always a fighter pilot from one of the fictional countries. Common traits of Ace Combat and their campaign-based gameplay involve: a wide spread of aircraft and weapons, enemy ace pilots, and giant superweapons. Not to mention the excellent storytelling (usually), graphics and music. Also, fun fact: more players play KSP than Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown by monthly average from Steam, but roughly the same number of games have been sold for each. AC7 released five years later than KSP, however.

If I send back a single copy, I get 125,1k science. your calculation, I assume, is made by calculating the science values in the wiki. but those science values are the maximum amount of science that can be collected, over multiple samples. if you take a single samples, most experiments do not return 100% science value. hence why you need to carry back multiple samples. your calculation, most likely, gives the maximum theoretical value, minus the "recovery of a vehicle from" extra bonus (in this case i get 120 for "returned from tylo surface") i also checked removing a single set of samples (so 3 copies of each experiment, but 4 for the infrared telescope) and I got 142145, 599 points less than I got. a fifth set of experiments would have returned a few additional dozen points. i'm sure i could calculate an ashyntotical maximum for the curve if i put myself to the task.

  6. when its sent to the pad is when the funds are deducted. first from the Budget balance and if your budget balance is 0 it then uses your funds. if you are just testing, reverting the flight will give you the money back. (a gui bug shows this not happening, but it does. still working on fixing that bug) The next update 0.0.3 will give a breakdown of both balances. you can see them in the save file at Kerbal Space Program 2\ModSaveData\[your save name]\kapitalism in that folder you will have a list of saves. you will see a key of Budget and one for Funds, they are the 2 balances.
  7. I like that "machete order" for the original 6 is: 4,5,2,3,6. (Note that 1 is omitted.) Still doesn't fully solve the problem of metaclorians, but it's better. And it's probably best to just pretend that 7, 8 and 9 don't exist; they throw so much cringe into the series anyway. Rogue One was good, and most of the streaming series are good too, but 1, 7, 8 and 9 are "#2", if you know what I mean...

  10. As far as I know Shabby can be used for adding custom shaders into KSP, but how to actually use it? From what I've seen in mods that use it, it requires two files: .shab.manifest and .shab but there is no information how to generate these files using my .shader file.

  12. I've heard it's going to be guiding itself in from the side. Chopsticks will be facing away from vital equipment to minimize the risk. But it's certainly going to be interesting, worst case scenario we'll gat an especially spectacular crash.

  14. @RenZocFN Looking at the log, it looks like the part switch on some of the Far Future Technologies parts are not finding one of the modules they're trying to affect. It would help to see a copy of your ModuleManager.ConfigCache from GameData to see what your mix of mods is defining for those parts as a first step to diagnosing what is being changed and then start hunting for the other mod that's changing it. Ignore me - just realised how old this thread is - should have checked that first

  16. Hello, I'm playing with KSRSS, and atmosphericbeats volumetric cfg for volumetric clouds version 4, and there's this issue I'm having that both volumetric clouds and 2D clouds show up when flying. Any way to only get the volumetrics?
