Endless expanse: Homebound (In Development)
Maple Kerman replied to TheOrios's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Why move it off of the forum? That's inconvenient for people who don't use Discord, and it's not like maintaining a link requires much effort.- 55 replies

[Jan 5th, 2022] Ahum Stock Revamp
Maple Kerman replied to smushanoob's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
The planets all look great! Despite what you said in the original post, though, having Kerbin be some sort of quasi-Earth is just so off-putting. Good work nonetheless.- 47 replies

Congratulations on the release! Every system replacer I've tried recently so far has either been too little or too much, but hopefully this one is just right. A lifetime of only three months is pretty concerning, though.

I'm glad this mod is being revised and updated. I remember wanting to use it a while back but lamenting its age. On a side note, would we be able to add wormholes for our own use (given the license). Or is that already part of the bonus content? Anyhow, I'm glad to see this. Keep up the work!

I'm extremely bored with the stock system, so I decided to install this as a system replacer so I could create a new save starting on Suluco. In short, I'm very satisfied. It's a bit more challenging, but the worlds are so much more interesting and there's an incentive to go explore them all. My only comment is that Suluco spins crazy fast in the main menu, which I know isn't even your fault. All tidally locked Kopernicus homeworlds do this, for whatever reason. Great mod. EDIT: Unfortunately, using Homeswitch bluescreens my laptop if I try to open any other applications. Guess I'll be using a lighter system replacer for now.

It's 2022. If Intercept didn't do this, they would quickly get bombarded with long, hostile reply threads on Twitter. Since it'll only really be relevant for multiplayer (seeing as your Kerbal is basically your "avatar" in this case), they probably won't add it right away. Honestly, if it were up to me, I'd just make them all fully customizable, so we wouldn't have to worry about this in the first place because everyone would be able to design their Kerbals however they'd like anyway. At the end of the day, I would like the spaceflight simulator with nondescript green aliens to focus entirely on spaceflight simulation with nondescript green aliens. Those are my two cents.

I haven't worked on this mod in a year, but recently I've started playing KSP again, so there may be some progress made sometime in the future.

Life has made things slow. I might group Kerbalism configs with a bigger update later on.

I'll see what I can do... I don't have any experience with Kerbalism, though. Let me figure something out.

Can't wait to see how this turns out.

I started playing around with KSP back when 1.2 released. To this day, 1.2.2 and 1.3.1 are my favourite "old" versions. I spent much more time playing 1.2.2 than 1.3.1, since this was back when version downloads were separated into "stable" and "newest", and 1.2.2 was considered the latest stable version for a while. I eventually moved to 1.3.1, though, and I loved all the improvements it brought without changing too much. I was able to keep mods for a while, too. I ended up dropping it when 1.4.5 released. Unlike with 1.2.2, I updated my game every time a major version received a patch (I usually skip out on the "X.0.0" versions), but none of them really felt as good as 1.2.2 or 1.3.1 did (maybe it was Take-Two). I arguably think KSP 1.12 is a better game than 1.2.2 or 1.3.1 were, but I do miss back when things were a lot simpler and there were way less serious bugs in the base game. I also don't own or care for the DLC very much, so that doesn't make much of a difference to me. But yeah, 1.2.2 and 1.3.1 were great.

totm july 2021 Threads of the month: July 2021
Maple Kerman replied to adsii1970's topic in Threads of the Month
Thanks for the award! I'm surprised to hear that my mod made the Mod of the Month category. While I think I did a good job, I think there are a few other recent planet mods out there that deserve just as much attention. Just to name a few: Strange New Worlds, by Zaffre Flamed Out, by Heliocentric The Vulture System, by Livaco Dreskiller Base, by RJVB09 These are all fantastic planet packs that are arguably better than mine, so go play them! However, I'll gladly take the TOTM. I'm flattered! -
