  1. No problem! Also, I second @biohazard15, just getting JNSQ is probably simpler than using a rescale but it's your decision ofc.
  2. No it wouldn't, thats exactly what I was trying to explain. All the part mods are balanced around the stock parts, which themselves are NOT balanced for realistic performance at the stock solar systems scale.
  3. Let me quote what's written on the very first page, in the FAQ: So, BDB parts aren't actually overpowered, they are just as powerful as the stock parts. That means you might want to consider scaling up your solar system, I don't really see why that would be in conflict with any mods. There isn't really a way to "nerf" all the parts in the game to achieve a realistic performance, which makes sense because just increasing the solar system size is a lot easier.
  4. So realistically, this mod is dead and forgotten now, isn't it?
  5. Quick question, Waterfall Restock isn't a dependency of RWE anymore if I understood that correctly, but will it conflict with RWE or not? If not, is there any point in having Waterfall Restock and/or Stock Waterfall Effects installed together with RWE?
  6. Heyo, quick question, is it still true that Parallax is better not to be used alongside Planetshine? Last time I asked was ~1.5 years ago so I just want to know if anything changed.
  7. Parallax 2.0 is awesome, congrats on the release! You got me playing KSP again after a break. Quick question though, Planetshine is still not recommended to use alongside Parallax, right?
  8. So first, this issue is not CKAN's problem because they technically still work together, just not as they should, and sorting out these kinds of issues is not duty of the CKAN devs. Which brings me to your second question: AVP and most other visual packs basically just use outdated configs which were made out-of-date by the new scatterer versions. That's why the atmospheres look all weird. This just happens whenever major changes are done to a mod that is a dependency of many other mods. The only way to currently use the newest scatterer versions is by just downloading scatterer, EVE and whatever else you want with their respective default configs and not get any packs like AVP or Spectra. Still won't work with OPM though because their plantes will still look weird from their outdated configs.
  9. Looks awesome, can't wait to see this in game! One humble question, can we expect a Beyond Home update to the newer Parallax and KSP versions anytime soon?
  10. But you should be able to use OPM alongside Parallax, right?
  11. Let me just clear this up, AVP does NOT work with the 0.08 version(s) of scatterer correctly yet. OP promised an update back in November but has been quiet since, so I'd recommend using scatterer version 0.0772 for now. Same for basically every other visual pack btw:
  12. no RO involved, only stockalike mods and KSRSS
  13. According to the scatterer dev, the atmosphere issues are probably caused by (now) outdated configs. Will there be an update to Beyond Home in the foreseeable future?
  14. will the atmospheric altitude settings work for planet packs with different atmospheres?
  15. Cross-post from the scatterer thread; TL:DR I got some weird issues with atmospheres after updating scatterer.
  16. After updating to the newest version, I have some weird issues with Beyond Home planets. Can't really describe so pics: So first off, most planets/moons with an atmosphere got a weird, inappropriate glare; that's Lua for example, it only got 10 km of atmosphere but this effect makes it look like a lot more. And then there's Hydrus, the second innermost planet, which is completely broken. I will probably downgrade the version again, but would appreciate it if someone could take a look at it, will also cross-post it over to the Beyond Home tread.
  17. I know that we can already get them in the dev branch, but I'd like to know if there's any rough ETA for the full release?
