Neebel replied to linuxgurugamer's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
will the atmospheric altitude settings work for planet packs with different atmospheres? -

[1.9.1 - 1.10.x] Beyond Home 1.5.0 (Supports Parallax)

Cross-post from the scatterer thread; TL:DR I got some weird issues with atmospheres after updating scatterer.- 1,647 replies

After updating to the newest version, I have some weird issues with Beyond Home planets. Can't really describe so pics: So first off, most planets/moons with an atmosphere got a weird, inappropriate glare; that's Lua for example, it only got 10 km of atmosphere but this effect makes it look like a lot more. And then there's Hydrus, the second innermost planet, which is completely broken. I will probably downgrade the version again, but would appreciate it if someone could take a look at it, will also cross-post it over to the Beyond Home tread.

It can still be downloaded on CKAN because of the archive.org fallback, as the github repo doesn't exist anymore.

literally completely off-topic, but that craft looks really nice. you got any modlist for that?

I would love to do this more free-style as well lol. Regarding other mods, I'd interpret "aesthetic mods" as all mods that don't add parts, so just your average QOL mods. I'm honest it would suck if you had to delete all mods or create a new KSP install. Any admins here that could potentially help us?

While we're at it: Are mods like FMRS allowed? Would be very useful for recovering the booster

totm dec 2021 [1.12.0 +] D.A.R.T. Range Challenge [1.0.0] [01 Nov 2021]
Neebel replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Well I guess I'll test it today then. But the rules only allow for stock solar system anyway, so I might just make another instance with CKAN -

I'd love to try this out, but it would probably only work with the stock solar system, right? Because my main install is Beyond Home right now -
I'm really looking forward to the release of your mod! Two small things: It's Commonwealth Rocketry Establishment (even Beale forgot what it was named lol), and I'd appreciate it if you'd still add KNES and Tantares in some future updates

I can only speak for myself but I think this looks close enough (tweakscaled Minotaur capsule from KNES and kitbashed service module, found somewhere on the forums) )

Started playing KSRSS a few days ago, love it so far! One question though, why are my clouds like this when I pass through the clouds layer at launch? These don't exactly look like 32k. Also, every time I launch KSP the KSRSSVE settings thing automatically pops up again. Could these things be related?

whoops Well, I agree KAS is very useful, but I just honestly have to say these fuel pipe attachments don't look very good. So, I mostly meant transferring resources between landed vessels; while in orbit, docking is the most realistic anyway. But yeah KAS is probably still the best solution, though I might just try out stock fuel lines as well.
