  1. how optimistic is that estimate? The US shuttle wanted a similar flight rate which it did not come close to achieving.
  2. can you make a mounting rack for a smaller shuttle as the payload? And then be able to carry another, smaller shuttle inside that one? It is shuttle payload technologies after all...
  3. It's not ready to be played with. If you're not planning on helping refine the balance to make it playable, then please refrain from using it.
  4. Just download the master from the GitHub, or download one of the weekly dev builds Jso has started to put out. Report bugs/suggestions here, or, better yet, on the GitHub. We don't have internal playtesters, We upload our work files straight to Github as soon as they're available.
  5. No, but thank you. Its not necessarily time intensive to get them in, its just they'll have to be iterated a bunch to make sure everything works. Once they're all in game (albiet with some missing texturing here and there, etc), I think Jso will start running batteries of playtesters through to test the balance and find bugs. The Saturn will be the easiest part to balance - the dV margins on the CSM and the LEM will be much lower.
  6. partially the fact that the number of part modules on each segment, partially just the colliders are crazy complicated. the parts are more or less single use so they're being combined to reduce part count and ease assembly. A bunch of them will be available separately as well.
  7. Looks like one of @Foxxonius Augustus's fractal space stations. EDIT: Also, UV unwrapping on the LEM is complete, and I only have two antennas left to texture along with a couple miscellaneous areas. I know y'all are excited, but that does NOT mean the LEM will be available soon. I have a busy couple days coming up (guess who doesn't have to be sober after monday?) and I don't want to try and rush everything through Unity - the LEM is going to be VERY complicated to set up, but hopefully the result will be that it is simple to put together and use in game.
  8. First of, love your sig. Second, The issue is that the CST-100, scaled for KSP, should be around 2.8125m (halfway between 4m and 5m IRL scale, as the CST-100 is 4.5m IRL). The CST100 that you have is 33% bigger than it should be.
  9. its worth pointing out that the BDB manual took a lot of time to make. It id made by a friend, I only supervise it, approve the craft files, write the descriptions. Perhaps Beale should find someone to help him? I don't think he has time to do it himself.
  10. It increases the performance impact of the part. Considering most KSP players I know use absolute potatoes, and (iirc) CXG has a good computer, his own performance probably isn't the best metric. Obviously its up to him to decide whether that matters or not, but it's worth keeping in mind. For reference, the entire BDB LEM will be about that many polygons (its 20K now with a couple antenna missing)
  11. Or my Apollo CM and LEM, which have windows 2-3 times as bug as the real one.
  12. The transform of the PartTools gameobject does not matter. I usually build my rockets fully in Unity, as in I assemble the stages and stuff to make sure everything works.
  13. Are those all retextures? Bravo! That looks awesome! Makes me want to play the game again.
  14. Unity's Z and Y axis are switched relative to Blender. Is that the issue?
