  1. Spin the arrester wires 180 degrees. That setup worked for me.

  3. Oh! Cool how do you open the GUI? I've never even seen it for eve. I still have a ton of tweaked AVP files I figured I'd need to abandoned on 1.1.3 for sure. And I have no idea how to make cube maps so I had all but given up on it.
  4. There really isn't much else to apply a flare to but.... There is a trick to simulate a dirty lens wich would give you a more realistic feal for videos. GEMFX, I have used it in a couple of my YouTube videos. But it hasn't been playing nice with 1.1.3 for some reason. Work great on 1.0.5 though. Shameless example of what I mean. Only issue with using GEMFX is it makes everything fuzzy. So menus are nearly unreadable. So it's honestly only good for videos.

  7. I'll try and get the projects section in the OP updated with more info on the V4, when I have some extra time..... (Extra time wouldn't that be amazing ) But I will probably take down any craft downloads as with 1.1.3 they are now defunct. I am really steering away from sharing craft files as it is just too unstable with mod / game updates breaking stuff far too frequently. That's why I'd rather just show people how I built it, so they can build one themselves.

  11. Well.... Have you seen what Fengist has added to Meritime? Catipults, Tail hooks and Arrester cables. No offense to Fengist in the slightest but, Meritime is really far too small to use effectively with LBP thus mostly incompatible. I have a carrier that needs some good usable plane recovery / throw'em off the boat equipment Another idea as well, pre built mid air refueling parts.
  12. May not be usable as there is a little bit of wind noise and it's not the best recording but it's good for a reference. And I assume you already know about YouTube to MP3 websites? Edit: Actually..... Could you consider making a Comanche rotor? I already have one built just the modified FS rotor looks a little delicate on top of it.
  13. Thanks! And you can absolutely use my video, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Just a side not though. I did increase max thrust to 412 in order to lift all that, along with the use of some KAX engines for smoke / extra power.
  14. I wonder if looking at the folding electric rotor in FS would yield any helpful info? Now that beeing said. You haven't setup the Osprey / SeaKing as an actual "Rotor" but as an engine correct? So this would require a substantial change to how your rotors work. But that would be a proof of concept at the very least. on a side note. I can't thank you enough for giving my Osprey some proper rotors! Thank you!
  15. I have seen plenty of people mention not to sink the VLS tubes into a craft both here and in the LBP thread. In 1.0.5 I have had luck sinking them almost all the way down but still not flush. But in 1.1.3 the VLS tubes really won't work right when sunk into a hull. The update for LBP has a VLS section for the hull. Not the best solution but it's the most functional one. Looking at the OP it looks like that hull section was used.
  16. That is correct. Hullcam is not currently working in 1.1.3 Be sure to read back a page or two. Or in this case up just a couple comments. Moderators have been very serious about shutting down threads where it just turns into a back and forth of "is it compatible with the latest version" @Albert VDS has not been active in this thread in a while and he probably just needs a break. Just be patient and there may be another modder that will pick up his work and update it. But always make sure you look before you ask. There are forum rules about repeatedly asking for updates.
  17. Well the only thing we used EVA Manager for, was to add the weapon manager directly to a Kerbal. You could also add ammo directly to a Kerbal but we didn't find this particularly useful. But the guns themselves are mainly just made possibl by BDA and KIS. What specifically are you trying to do? And as far as file placement. Just use the existing BD FPS file structure and cfg's as a guide. You can simply copy an existing cfg and modify the necessary values. But this all depends on the guns being setup in unity. Other wise they are just props. @SpannerMonkey(smce) Is really the master behind all the Unity work on FPS. I just improved on Darren9's idea and with the help of guys Like spanner. FPS is what it is today. I'm no master modder trust me

  20. Nice! Thanks @cartman Kerbcam had a feature CamTools lacked. The ability to quickly place the camera in an adjustable fixed position. saved a lot of time not using hull cam for filming tasks Really appreciate the update!
  21. I decided to further improve my V-22. Now it's crazy stable in either forward flight or VTOL mods.
  22. @SpannerMonkey(smce) if you link / pm me the FPS folder you have working as a whole. We can upload that to Spacedock and maybe show this a little love. I really haven't had the time to dive into this as far as you have. At this point I think FPS has more with your name on it than mine really appreciate everything you do around here, thank you!
  23. I apologize for the very late reply. I must have missed this in my alert emails (with work I receive a ton of email every day) Unfortunatly I stopped posting downloads for my crafts. Too many troubleshooting issues for people, and most of my crafts are in excess of 150 - 200 parts this requiring a substantial computer. Instead I try to keep my mod list as current as I can and provide links. I know it's not what everyone wants. But I'm also around to help people figure out how to reproduce my creations on there own. You know teach a man to fish kind of mentality I guess If you'd like some help building something that's what this thread was really intended for. And I'm always reachable over PM for more detailed conversations as well.
  24. @SpannerMonkey(smce) let me know if another set of digits to cfg bash would be helpful. I don't have as much time these days as I did before to mod. But I'm still willing to return the favor.
