[1.1] BDArmory v0.11.0.1 (+compatibility, fixes) - Apr 23
V8jester replied to BahamutoD's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Mechjeb has a rover autopilot that will drive to assigned waypoints. And BD Armory isn't really a vehicle prop mod. But SXT and KSO have vehicle parts to limit part count on small land vehicles.... -
Advanced Aircraft, Building Techniques And Help
V8jester replied to V8jester's topic in KSP Fan Works
It's actually really easy to make. 6-7 parts. Just tweak the sizes and textures of everything to your liking. instructions using procedural parts IR and docking ports of your choosing surface attach a structural element (tube) to the back of the pod pointing into the cargo hold node attach a structural element (smooth cone) to the end of the first tube and a docking port or whatever you want that looks like a door. surface attach another straight (tube) 90 degrees point up out of the cargo hold node attach an IR extendatron to that Node attach a straight tube to the IR extendatron with a docking port attached to that use the offset tool to pull the extendatron down and that's really it- 214 replies

Advanced Aircraft, Building Techniques And Help
V8jester replied to V8jester's topic in KSP Fan Works
Oh, I built that out of 4 Procedural Parts structural elements. As well as an IR extendatron to push the Chaka Monkey docking port out of the cargo bay. So that is not a single part you can just slap in.- 214 replies

I think that is best answered by saying. Everyone's opinion of "best" can vary significantly. I think Blackrack supplies the settings that are best suited to everyone as a whole. But if you want bigger waves or a lower atmosphere. You may just want to start playing with the settings. Worse case you mess them up and hate them. Just reinstall a fresh copy of scatterer and you are back to normal.

Hey I used RKE Kanadarm in all my shuttle arm builds. Works great and has a super small docking port end effector. Here's a video showing how it works

Did you try turning off V-sync? Makes a huge difference on my end.

1.1.2 Magic Smoke Industries Infernal Robotics 2.0.2
V8jester replied to sirkut's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Ziw, I assign servos to action groups all the time. This allows me to control individual servos accross multiple groups. I know you're saying change the IR GUI to allow for servo button assignment not group assignment. But this work great in the meantime. Only downside is sacrificing an action group or two. -

Just saw "The Force Awakens" And I was truly impressed! The new replacement for the imperial shuttle is a Upsilion Class Command Shuttle. With it's enormous wings it was a challenge to get flying right. I compensated for its a symmetric lift / thrust with a ton of SAS The wings are on IR Gantry's and are secured in place with Quantum struts.

[1.1.3] BDArmory FPS - A BDArmory Expansion - 0.4 (9-10-16)
V8jester replied to V8jester's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Just wanted to let everybody know. FPS is going to be on hold for a while. As I have accomplished everything I set out to do as well as everything I am capable of doing for now. I need help with Blender and Unity model setup (I know that's asking a lot) If anyone is interested please PM me. I will continue to update if there are any breaking changes or new weapons added to BD Armory. But for now enjoy FPS! -
Pro Props - Wearable items for your kerbals. Updated to KIS!
V8jester replied to Locob's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Hey is there any chance of a black cape to go with the Vader helmet? The poncho would be perfect if the texture wasn't mirrored front and back. -
Hey Fel, if you find the time to return to this. My only issue (it's a small one) The multiple select drag window. Will only work if you click above and left of the selection then drag down and right. Any other orientation and it will not select Kerbals. Besides that. Awesome mod! and it works just fine in 1.0.5

Oh! I was wondering about that. I really didn't like the choppy turning at each transition. I'll check that out when I get back home tonight. I also felt like everything was too drawn out. But I was afraid of doing too much maneuvering as the shuttle can turn on a dime (kinda unrealistic) but necessary for vertical flight. I really need to get one of my Xbox controllers hooked up to my computer I really want to see The Force Awakens just have a feeling I wont catch it till January . -

I used KerbCam for the first time. And I have to say it really works great! With "The Force Awakens" coming out in about a half hour I just couldn't help myself. -

What's the issue with it man? is it too flexible? B9 has invisible struts that work great.
