Which targeting radar are you using? The panel radars have good coverage, but don't do directly overhead. Use the STIR's and you should find your problems to be no more.

When it comes to lag with the Bofors, the only issue that I have is when placing one. No lag when running them, or after they're placed

Not really though. Check the previous page where you can see my missiles clipped and then launching just fine

Thirded. I can clip VLS tubes into hull parts with no issues using vessel mover. Don't even bother with hyper edit -
Check it out. Its generally a good idea to try other mods before requesting something lest it already exist. No need to take up a mod maker's time and resources building something that's already out there

So now that radar will pick up things on the surface, can we get the AShMs that should be radar guided and aren't to be radar guided now? -
Minor bug to report, not sure if its just me though. When quad-packing ESSMs, and then recessing them into the deck (maritime pack) (works for everything else just fine so far), I can get one to fire, then the next simply won't fire. Will do more testing to ensure its not just me being an idiot, but something to maybe be aware of. Very specific issue, so treat accordingly.

Is that turret the LAV-AD 20MM vulcan turret? It is isn't it? As for the few new missiles, any chance of the SA-8 and SA-15 being on the list?
