  1. Good luck! I’ve never yet learned 3D modeling, but my understanding is that it is similar to making parts, which you should be able to find a tutorial for.
  2. Based on your tags, you already know about Kerbal Konstructs. Use that to add buildings. There are many sets of building models to choose from, and you can resize anything to your liking. if you want to create your own models, you should probably ask on that thread for advice.
  3. @Flexico, just look at the config file for the ISRU part, you can use Module Manager to remove the input resource of ore. alternatively, you could add the module to your solar panels.
  4. I can’t tell if you are just complaining or if you actually have a question. The reflection probe is part of the PBR system that makes reflections possible. I believe you can get rid of it by not installing the PBR pack, is that right @Shadowmage?
  5. I’m confused, Realism Overhaul requires TAC Life Support mod, not USI. Do you have both installed? Having both might have weird side effects.
  6. @Murdabenne, this works fine in 1.3.1. I use the dragon-like parts frequently.
  7. @RaiderMan, yes to both Soyuz spacecraft and launcher, the Soyuz stuff is among my favorite parts of this mod. The spacecraft bits are called SC-A. For the launcher use MFT-A with Soyuz caps and MFT-D tanks for boosters. SSTU uses real names for engines, so a quick trip to Wikipedia can help you find those.
  8. Good idea, they look great! I like the hi-viz sleeves. just a note- the font in your post is almost impossible to read on an iPhone, you might want to change it.
  9. Oops, it looks like the contents of the Trajectories folder ended up in GameData, Assuming you have no other mods installed the only things in GameData should be -SQUAD (folder) -Trajectories (folder) -moduleManager (several files) Module manager is a mod that allows other mods to change config files. It is required for many mods to work.
  10. There is only one right way, which is explained above by Monstah, try that and if your troubles persist, please post a screenshot of your GameData directory.
  11. This thread is starting to sound like a broken record.
  12. All this assumes that SpaceX launches are profitable. Mr Musk comes from Silicon Valley, where that isn’t a requirement of doing business.
  13. @Leo_G., it is a module manager patch so the patch is the source. You don't even really need to DL it, just copy and paste. Not sure if there was more to this mod but it looked like at an earlier point in the thread.
  14. https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/head-of-pentagons-secret-ufo-office-sought-to-make-evidence-public/2017/12/16/90bcb7cc-e2b2-11e7-8679-a9728984779c_story.html?hpid=hp_hp-more-top-stories_ufos-750pm%3Ahomepage%2Fstory&utm_term=.e829e40c9137 Pentagon releases "official" UFO video. What do you think it could be?
  15. Happy to help. If KSP was easy, then there wouldn't need to be a forum.
  16. That looks a bit more like a PastramiJet, but I'll take it. You are on a roll @Electrocutor!
  17. Can UPGRADES be applied to any node or only PART{} nodes?
  18. You may have to share a little more information if you want help. What is your goal and how do the mods already posted not work for you?
  19. @Gegb1912, SSTU has part recoloring, including metallic textures.
  20. Hey Jade, are the sigma suit textures different from the TR-style ones? Could I use files from an old suitpack?
  21. @fourfa, those are some really interesting ideas. The changing of the suits might be possible if the stock UPGRADES system could be applied to non-PART nodes - does anyone know if this is possible? If it worked, the suits would be unlocked in the techtree, not at the astronaut complex though. You inspired me to do an experiment. Regarding Air pressure - that would certainly require a plugin, so is probably out of scope for this mod, but it should be possible since G-Effects mod does it for G-Loss-of-consciousness. It would probably be easier to role-play this rule, look up what the minimum survivable air pressure is and do an experiment yourself to find out at what altitude this occurs, and not exceed this, or if you do, take your hands off the controls! Edit, alot of the parameters are already accounted for: Hide contents Parameter Type Description type Enum The situation where the suit can be used. Accepted values: EVA, IVA suitMinPressure Float The pressure range in which the suit can be used. suitMaxPressure Float helmetLowPressure Float The pressure range in which the helmet can be removed. Only active when the atmosphere contains oxygen. helmetHighPressure Float jetpackMaxGravity Float The gravity value under which the jetpack is removed.
  22. well some random googling turned this up, so its a thing... https://www.cnbc.com/2017/11/28/tesla-type-planes-to-be-developed-by-airbus-rolls-royce-and-siemens.html It sounds like it might be more realistic to have an electric powered fan. Then have a separate gas and oxidizer(or monoprop) powered generator.
  23. A jet engine is so efficient because it doesn't have to carry its own oxidizer. If you are carrying oxidizer, why not just use a rocket?
  24. You say that thing is full of beer? You’ll have to shake it pretty hard to get it to liftoff!
