It's all good. It should be way faster than it is currently. I live out in the middle of nowhere and use satellite Internet so it's awful slow. They are currently running fiber cable in my area and barring any set backs it should be ready by the 18th. I'm pretty excited about it- 2,401 replies

Ya scatterer is pretty performance heavy. Development is slow for 1.1.3. The update will come eventually. The Internet thing is really cramping my style lol I won't have Internet until the 18th but an update will be ready for sure on the 18th I hope.- 2,401 replies

Because this mod is a wip and things changed over time. As I became educated on how things look, I made changes. If you want Mars to look the same as in the video you will have to make a new scatterer cfg and make it the way you want it- 2,401 replies

Mars atmosphere is there. It's very light just like irl. It's subtle. Like I said for the flickering, it can't be helped. If you want a thicker atmosphere on mars you have to make a new scatterer cfg for it.- 2,401 replies

No. The only way to "fix" it is to adjust the PQS values . Making the PQS higher will cause you to clip into the terrain and explode though. I'll need pics or videos of the flickering- 2,401 replies

No the settings in the game data folder You could use rve but you would need to adjust the cloud heights cfg in order to get the correct cloud height in game. This mod doesn't use rve so I don't support it considering its not updated yet.- 2,401 replies

I don't think you understand, or, maybe, I don't understand you, but this mod needs EVERYTHING that is included in the download. No useless files. This mod provides only clouds. So if you want JUST clouds then this is the mod for you!

Thats how it's supposed to look. The scaling causes the low res. Nothing I can do about it. As for the hilly Mars, that's the intended look. You can go into the settings cfg and change the landscape value to 1 and things should look normal.- 2,401 replies

You can use the clouds. I am currently working on 3 different size solar systems one of which was 1/2 size but if you are making that then I'll cease and focus on the others. You are making my life easier Progress update: I'm slowly moving along with the fixes that are obvious to me. As I stated above, I'm working on multiple sizes to suit everyone's needs so it's taking a little longer than I wanted. My Internet provider is working on running new fiber cables in my area so I'll be without Internet for about two weeks. But hey no more satellite Internet!!! WooT! I have been using the Hotspot on my phone but my wife will kill me if I go over on data again for the sake of the mod so just bare with me guys! I promise to have a quality update when it's ready. For now, just update your kopernicus and that makes the mod playable as far as I can tell. Have a good one!- 2,401 replies

I plan on starting getting things ready for the update tonight. I wouldn't expect a full release until Sunday at the earliest. I have a few obligations to family this weekend but I should have time to knock out enough for a release by then if someone wants to put together a list of things that need fixing, I would be forever grateful. Needs more acronyms Just want everyone to know that we haven't stopped development. We both just got really busy at the same time irl. We have decided not to update until 1.1.3 is released in order to make sure nothing breaks upon its release. I need some info on what exactly needs to be fixed. After the last few weeks and my lack of time working on this, I forgot what needed to be worked on. I have finished the visuals and I know atmospheres need some tweaking to include the sun. Oh that. That's the cloud layer. That is an EVE thing. The cloud textures on the layers don't fade away and are visible all the way to the horizon. I've talked to Poodmund about it and it's just a frustrating thing that can't be helped- 2,401 replies
