  1. might look a bit more epic, but it will look good. you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Now in low orbit, the textures might seem stretched a little, but this is normal for large scale bodies
  2. they look exactly like the stock versions. the larger you go the flatter terrain will look due to applying realistic landscape deformity.
  3. Yeah it is! @Porter_John what mod did you use to prune your community tech tree of branches for mods you don't use? I find I don't use most of the tree and I forgot what you used.
  4. That's what I use as well, since I play GPP. It's a really good balance
  5. @j-tk Send me a screenshot of your gamedata folder. Also, did you install EVE???
  6. Oh I know you were agreeing I was just ranting lol
  7. Did you install EVE? I spent hundreds of hours making the textures and cfgs work right for SSRSS. There are too many changes that would have to be made to the default EVE cfgs and textures for them to work correctly on SSRSS. I don't have the time to walk you through the process to make them work with this mod. Sorry. Either use the clouds I have provided or learn to use EVE, brother. It's a simple mod. Just takes some playin around with
  8. This is due to a change in ksp in 1.3 and it's implementation of localization. This mod has not been updated yet, and does not make the changes necessary to show the correct name. You can go back to 1.2.2 or wait for an update until then or make the changes in the kopernicus cfg.
  9. So you want your life support mod to consume 6.4x more over the course of a day? I would, because I hate the rescue missions. Explain to me why I'm rescuing kerbals that I didnt hire and that I didn't put into space. Who are they and how the heck did they get there when I'm the only space program around? Really breaks the immersion for me. I have a hard enough time rescuing the kerbals that I actually do strand
  10. I made it to Iota. Jade, Poodmund and Bobert made it to Iota. I was scrubbed from the launch when GSP noticed increased levels of hydrogen and methane in my suit, said I was a "safety/fire hazard". "You smelled it, you dealt it!" didn't fool the GSP. Had it, I would have been the first on Iota, not Jade.
  11. @Avera9eJoe I don't think they are converted, but I have been wrong before. Poodmund converted some of my textures to cubemaps in the past and all were in dds format. If anybody in the forums, besides Waz, knows what EVE does to textures regards to compression and memory saving techniques, it's Poodmund. My point is, if they were converted by EVE, Poodmund wouldn't have gone through the trouble of doing it himself. I'm just spit balling here if course
  12. do me a favor and land do another crew report in a different biome. Everything looks ok on my end but i dont know for sure
  13. Yeah it's a pretty common issue as stock is not set up to work with scaled systems natively, so the contracts can be a messed up a little. I will look into what options I have, but I'm unsure if a true fix beyond removing rescue missions from the game.
  14. for anyone interested in GPP city lights, have at it! HERE
  15. You won't be able to use EVEs clouds without A LOT of cfg changes. There aren't even enough textures in EVE to cover what needs to be covered in SSRSS. to find an older version of scatterer on space dock, just click the change log and scroll down a little
  16. It's a github thing, or you can just provide us your config you used in a zip file on Dropbox
  17. yeah, with GPP secondary, due to how many different possible packs GPP can be put around, we couldn't possibly included visual cfgs for them all, so it's up to the user to make it work if they want it. HOWEVER, we would gladly take pull requests and distribute the patches as we get them in our updates.
  18. Should be as simple as setting the reference body and the SMA, so it looks like you have done that correctly
  19. Did you install the "clouds" file in the Ssrss download? And The latest scatterer (v0.0320b) is not supported yet. You will have to download v0.0300 for now.
  20. TRR is still very early in development and breaks things regularly as it releases patches. It's not stable enough for for my standards. We already get bombarded with a ton of troubleshooting issues, I don't really want to add to that list with an incomplete mod, ya know?
