  1. I have kind of given up on kerbalism for the time being. Too many moving pieces, and issues currently.
  2. The current version available will not work on 1.3. When a 1.3 compatible version is ready, I will let everyone know here.
  3. You'll catch on pretty quick Once you go @Thomas P., @Poodmund, @JadeOfMaar, Galileo, and @blackrack, you never go back...rack? Err.. stock just won't do it for you anymore. SVE is a gateway mod..
  4. Indeed, but on a trusted site, like the one Sabian uses, it's safe to assume you are safe there.
  5. @Cpt Kerbalkrunch Module Manager is required for SVE to work correctly with Scatterer and Kopernicus and nearly all mods use it. I recommend installing it. It comes bundled with some mods, like kopernicus. So you may have better luck getting it that way. That is harmless.
  6. The cfg will work anywhere in the gamedata folder. It just needs module manager and kopernicus to work.
  7. Make sure you follow the install instructions. Make sure you have the GPP_Textures downloaded and installed.
  8. It's not saying to use the 1.2.2 version of GPP, it's telling you to use version 1.2.2 of KSP.
  9. Ok, so I'm not crazy. You aren't getting contract issues now that you have removed the GFI? I tested your system a while back to confirm my suspicions, and without GFI and I had no issues.
  10. If you are using the latest scatterer in 1.3, then the floating tiles are no longer an issue. Only the 1.2.2 version of scatterer causes that issue in 1.3. if you are using SVE, you are not using the latest version. SVE use to use an MM cfg to make changes that would overwrite the default scatterer settings like ocean shaders. It no longer does this in the latest version. If you are not using SVE, disregard this message, but if you are, please insure you have the latest version and the most up to date dependencies.
  11. Well fortunately, cards are relatively inexpensive these days. 5 years ago I bought a gtx 980 for a little more than $500. Now, I could go out and get a gtx 1060 for less than $200. So, that's one way to look at it
  12. Yeah, you are bottle necking pretty bad with that card. Every visual pack relies damn near solely on the gfx card. Upgrading that would help a lot.
  13. I have never had to switch out for a fresh scatterer so I'm unaware of what you are talking about. It seems it's not a scatterer problem but the fact that the dev doesn't know how to use scatterer and MM. if they include a complete bundled scatterer folder, and you forget to swap it out when you switch planet packs, that's not scatterers issue, that's your issue for forgetting and the other planet packs developers issue for not implementing MM. All of my mods that use Scatterer, do so through Module Manager. Using that method, I avoid having to install a fresh copy of scatterer every time I switch between mods. Devs that don't use that method are the people that you should bring that up with. Not the scatterer dev.
  14. For as long as I have been a member of this community, scatterer has said WIP in the thread title. Scatterer has been mostly stable from release to release through out its life span. It's the "modders" that have no idea what they are doing that introduce bugs that are easily avoidable. The "bug" you brought up about paths is a very small issue that doesn't hurt anything in game. It may annoy the OCD players, but it's harmless. And @JadeOfMaar is absolutely right. With a project the size of scatterer, and one developer, expect something to go wrong here or there. Luckily, what we have is mostly working so long as people don't go mucking around with things
  15. Where is the fun in telling you that? Why not just go explore? You said yourself that you have nothing left to do. At that point in your game, anything is worth doing if you are trying to keep the career going.
  16. Then you are not doing something right. Uninstalling is as easy as deleting the scatterer folder out of your gamedata folder. I doubt very seriously that scatterer is causing this. If that problem happens without scatterer installed, then it's not scatterer causing the issue. It's impossible for scatterers dll to affect a game after it's been removed. Do some additional troubleshooting and double check your other mods. Also read this:
  17. Sometimes you just have to do a scene change when that happens. It's not a problem with the mod. Sometimes the visuals load too quickly resulting in your issue.
  18. @zeant93 you definitely should not be running out of memory. Make sure you are running the 64 bit version of ksp
  19. @blackrack was going to implement a noise to the rings to simulate such things.
