  1. I haven't updated it yet. While making the cfgs, I found more bugs in the new scatterer that needs to be fixed before I include it.
  2. Ah gotcha! Might be a missed case sensitive thing somewhere.
  3. It's still a kopernicus issue. Until we get a new version of Kopernicus, expect the bug.
  4. It's not a mistake. When I made that patch, doing it that way was required. Kopernicus has changed since that patch was made, but I have not updated the cfg due to laziness
  5. You should look into incorporating this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ua5ty5hnbtpidym/SunFlareFix.cfg?dl=0
  6. If you are just trying to get rid of the stock flare when scatterer is installed, use this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ua5ty5hnbtpidym/SunFlareFix.cfg?dl=0 this is now an unofficial requirement for scatterer when kopernicus is installed. note: this removes the stock corona
  7. This seems to be a common thing for Linux users and the latest kopernicus. It's out of my hands unfortunately. I'll double check everything, though.
  8. You have to use scatterer version 0.0300. The latest scatterer does not work with GPP currently due to the cfg structure changes. When I update GPP, it will support the latest scatterer.
  9. Somebody recently brought this to me and before I could help, they determined it was strict causing the issue. Much like the thread posted above.
  10. I don't care. Don't need credit enjoy!
  11. If you go into the zip,the images are all in PNG format, so you can open them and use them
  12. Well, in those particular screenshots, you wouldn't be able to see a sun flare. They do look cool though. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by move an effect? If you want some tips for photoshop, let me know. I teach adobe at the art institute
  13. @Lo Var Lachland the images are nice, however, impossible. On each screenshot you have edited, the lighting and shadows are not right in reference to the star placement. Often drawing toward the light instead of away. Not hating, just constructive criticism Looking forward to more!
  14. Yes, but I think the mod used EVE clouds to simulate a scatterer like atmosphere. I don't know how good it would look with both but I assume it wouldn't be awful.
  15. Scatterer doesn't have dependencies, true, but for it to work with kopernicus, that change has to be made. [snip] Either have that mm patch or have the stock sun flare peeking through. The only other fix is to scale the sunflare to cover up the stock one.
  16. No I cannot as I am a way with the national guard until Monday. I did explain it a little yesterday, and like I said, you can only adjust it so much but ultimately you won't see a difference not a big one anyway.. EVE and Scatterer are not perfect sciences and I think you are going to have to make that concession and accept that. KSP is an ugly game and can only be made to look so good, but not perfect. I have been working with visual packs for ksp for a long time, and I'm telling you, that you are wasting your time that you could be playing on trying to make your game look better than what others have already determined is the best you can make it look.
  17. This is because you have kopernicus installed and KSPRC does not include an mm cfg for kopernicus to remove the stock sunflare.
  18. Glad you and your mom like the game and the mod! Really cool you and your mom can enjoy ksp together!
  19. Some of the more important parameters have tool tips if you just hover over them. Not all of them though
  20. No, it won't effect visual packs, just people's careers, but I'm sure people won't mind.
