  1. My graphics card took a dump on me tonight I'm not sure how long I'll be off line as I'll have to save up a little dough to get a new one. (I'll also need to convince the old lady). This is pretty poor timing as I am in the middle of purchasing a new home and finding new furniture. I just started getting back into modding ksp too. Well, hope to be back full strength sooner than later. I'll still be on the forums like always, but modding will have to be put on hold. Such is life.

  4. Yes and no. The PQS terrain stuff had to be completely redone, and will probably destroy all objects you have on the surface. Also, all index numbers for planetary bodies will be removed and that will cause your orbiting objects to be scattered to different planets and areas you haven't been to yet. We will include a cfg to correct this issue though if you need it, but we can't do anything about the terrain. Ultimately, we are going to strongly suggest a fresh start.
  5. Another small update. • Added support for RemoteTech. Distance that tracking stations are visible, now rescale automatically. Thanks @N70
  6. You should really try with the minimum amount of mods. Like only GN and SVE, then add the others back one at a time until the issue occurs. Then you will have the culprit. Right now, nobody can tell you what is wrong, not even with that screenshot. You may even have your ambient light setting too high
  7. Thanks! that's a good one to add! I figured remote tech did that on its own seeing as how many RO users use it
  8. A normal map is a texture. when a normal map is saved incorrectly, a planet will be lit incorrectly by the light source. I can't know for sure if this is your issue because you haven't posted a screenshot. I doubt that it is your issue because the packs that are compatible with GN are pretty high quality for the most part. Still, I'll need a screenshot.
  9. Perhaps @Sigma88 has seen something like this, but to get support from him, you will need the proper documentation, like logs, and other goodies
  10. We need more info than that. Are you using any mods? Trying to edit Kerbin? Are you experiencing an eclipse? Probably not the last one, but you get the point
  11. Small update. Gameslinx root folder correctly listed in cfgs now. Sun flare and ghost fade in and out are resized by the rescale value A.I. Revived is no longer supported due to Sigma Dimension not agreeing with that packs cfgs.
  12. HERE'S AN UPDATE: Quality over quantity. My last update for this was rushed and awful, to be honest. I decided to slow down my production and focus on the quality of these new sun flares. This version includes: 3 brand new sun flares, with red, white, and blue variations. So, really there are 9 new sun flares. Every sun flare includes immersive dust particles on the lenses. Not sure if its possible, but it looks cool. The sun flares are now individually packaged to cut down on download size tremendously. The sun flares no longer overwrite Scatterer's default textures, instead everything is implemented through Module Manager. TO INSTALL: Download and install Scatterer Drop the GSF folder into your GameData folder DOWNLOAD This is likely my last update for this mod. Between the 4 releases of this mod (roughly 40 sun flares), you should be able to find one you like. I will maintain them of course as scatterer updates, but I doubt I'll get back into creating more. Plus, @JadeOfMaar just recently released his pack and it's really good. So, if you can't find what you want here, go give his pack a look here:
  13. This is a program ( I can't remember which one but I think it's from Nvidia) that is telling you that the CPU is handling the physics. Alternatively, you could have it set so that your GPU handles the physics. A quick Google gave this: "Video games supporting hardware acceleration by PhysXcan be accelerated by either a PhysX PPU or a CUDA-enabled GeForce GPU (if it has at least 32 cores and a minimum of 256 MB dedicated graphics memory), thus offloading physics calculations from the CPU, allowing it to perform other tasks instead."
  14. I think it was said a few pages back that reasearch bodies won't work when injecting into a current save and one would have to start a new career
  15. There is a patch for a 2.5x Ssrss on the Ssrss thread. May have to go back a page or two.
  16. Made a trip to Moho, but I kind of regret it. At least I got to play for a while today.
  17. Wellllll, not until we release it for 1.3, right? The cfg structure has changed quite a bit
