  1. Bizarrely, the announcement seemed to have been predicted in a 4chan thread last Friday. I can't post the thread here as 4chan is very much a NSFW site, but I can DM anyone who wants to see it.
  2. Is there any reason why the EVA time is so low at 1 hour, when most real life spacewalks are much longer? Especially considering it's the same even with the Kerbal's helmet off.
  3. KSP's aerodynamic model is quite realistic nowadays, there's not really a pressing need for FAR like there used to. However, if you want absolutely accurate aerodynamics, try FAR out, as the performance penalty is only very slight.
  4. Sorry for the delay, here's what I'm taking about. There are transparent areas on most of the 2.5m NFA engines (the Broadsword has a slight mismatch, and the Cutlass is normal).
  5. Same issue with me. Also, there's a transparent region on both nuclear engines that shouldn't be there, I'll post pics in a min.
  6. Not in this case, there are a few broken things if you use 1.10 ReStock in 1.9 or 1.8.
  7. Speaking of patches, I've created a variation on the patch that turns the ReStock engines into cryogenic ones. Instead of just converting them from LFO to LH2/O, it adds an LH2/O alternate mode instead, preventing you from losing out on the engine's stock functions (For example, with the original patch, the 3.75m size class no longer has any LFO engines. With this, the engines retain their LFO abilities but now can also optionally burn LH2/O). The patch has RealPlume compatibility, but no compatibility for the Skiff's ReStockPlus equivalent, the Caravel: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jIzI05qojgHedQLhj7HNhxakCi7cEnBM/view?usp=sharing License is public domain, not sure if licenses are required for simple patches
  8. I don't think they look that bad, here's a comparison with the equivalently sized ReStock LFO tanks: The tops and bottoms do look kind of rough, but you aren't going to be seeing them that often.
  9. @linuxgurugamer perhaps you could take over development?
  10. Yeah, I really miss the monoprop tanks. The restock tanks are pretty by themselves, but quickly become very ugly after being stacked.
  11. Could we see a version of this for 1.8+? The current RCS sounds are awful to listen to.
  12. With the new code for NTRs, would it be possible to power a NTR with the heat generated from another reactor? It might require a single NTR to be on two loops though, one for power and one for cooling.
  13. Small question: What was the TWR of the Saturn V's second stage, the S-II? I can't seem to find this information anywhere for some reason.
  14. You can always edit your save file to remove the old-FFT engines on your craft and replace them, it's a bit difficult but not that bad.
  15. Pretty sure the Swivel and Reliant are the XLR-105-5 (Atlas Core Engine) and XLR-89-5 (Atlas Booster Engine), respectively. Terrier bears a resemblence to the Lunar Module Descent Engine, but I'm not fully sure if it's based on it. Puff is probably the Space Shuttle's OMS engine.
  16. Is there a way to manually override it? Would be useful for precise control over how much uranium is being used.
  17. I'm pretty sure that KSP2 will be playable on a 1030. I'm running EVE and Scatterer on integrated graphics (Vega 11) with roughly the same power as a 1030, with acceptable framerates. I imagine KSP2 will be better performing then EVE+Scatter KSP1, so you should be good.
  18. It's on a fishing boat in the foreground, the perspective makes it look like the recovery team is holding it: https://clips.twitch.tv/DifficultPunchySrirachaDoubleRainbow (watch till the end to see what I mean)
  19. Looks like some unrelated fishing boats wanted to get a view of the capsule: https://clips.twitch.tv/DifficultPunchySrirachaDoubleRainbow
  20. KSP has 3 different settings menus, one for the main menu, one for the space center, and one for flight, each with its own exclusive options. For example, you can only edit navball scale in flight, only edit terrain detail in the main menu, etc. Having them all unified into a single menu would be really nice.
  21. Lo siento por mi mal español, estoy usando el traductor de Google. El mod que estás buscando se llama "Kerbal Konstructs" y está disponible aquí: A pesar de ser para la versión 1.8.1, funciona bien en 1.10.1.
