  1. I tend to add 2-4 boosters, test the rocket, and then realise that I have a wasteful amount of excess delta-V and remove them.
  2. @rettter3 Why not just have the continents in the poll? If people feel like it they can be more specific in their post. Also, I'm from the UK, hi
  3. I have. All of the buildings around the KSC still appear, but I had to manually reopen all of the launchpads using the KK menu in the VAB and the ASDS out at sea doesn't seem to appear when I enabled recovery bases on the KK toolbar (though that last one may just be PEBCAK).
  4. So we know they're not reusing capsules for Commercial Crew, but I wonder if tourist flights will use previously flown spacecraft?
  5. And now SN2 is coming together at warp speed. I hope they can avoid this one popping
  6. I don't kill my kerbals, and even though I use a life support mod, it's Snacks so that when they run out of food they don't die. Theoretically, my kerbals are immortal
  7. Wow! These are looking fantastic! Regarding the aesthetics of the parts, I really like them. I never did like the junkyard look many of the parts had until recently - just because Kerbals look goofy, and failing is a big part of the game, doesn't mean that the ships should look poorly built. The Kerbals aren't idiots. The planet textures look a little basic right now but since this is pre-alpha I expect them to change, especially because the new development studio apparently has access to all of the resources of KSP1 - presumably this includes the planet revamps that SQUAD have been doing.
  8. Awesome new video from SpaceX! I can't believe it's already been a year since DM-1... Here's to a successful DM-2!
  9. Regarding SN1 RUD-ing, I'd prefer they blow up a few Starships on the ground than have one destroyed in flight. It's like the trial-and-error process of designing your first rocket in KSP, except 'Revert to Vehicle Assembly' takes a little longer. (Of course, this isn't trial and error, but you get the picture).
  10. Woah, that was an even more energetic RUD than MK1! I wonder if this was a planned test-to-failure, or if it was an accident like MK1. Given that Elon's recent tweets have suggested that SN1 wouldn't fly, I'm tentatively leaning towards the former.
  11. These are looking sweet! Are they going to be in SSPXR or a separate mod?
  12. Oh, awesome! Stock RealPlume is good to see, and those explosions are going to be so much fun... Failure is a fundamental part of KSP and it's important that failure looks awesome too! edit: dangit forum, double post?
  13. Interesting how they've posted this in two places...
  14. Yes! There were so many irritating bugs in 1.9.0, thanks so much for fixing them. For future releases though, I think I'm just going to skip 1.x.0. Sadly they always seem to be bug-ridden.
  15. We should start a petition to name it Minmus.
  16. This is what killed Mk1... There's only one thing they can do now...
  17. I was hesitant to install MOLE because I didn't think I needed it, but now I think I should. Those new parts look awesome. Also, just a nitpick Your Soyuz first stage core is a little inaccurate...it should be a smaller diameter where the boosters are mounted. http://andegraf.com/rockets/soyuz.htm (also, check out this website, it's got 3d models of pretty much every rocket - it's an excellent resource).
  18. Realistic Progression 1. It's basically a mod for Realism Overhaul/Real Solar System players that adds realistic career progression.
  19. Flight Results Outcome: Catastrophic Failure! [00:00:00]: Liftoff! [00:00:02]: Separation of stage 1 confirmed. [00:00:05]: Mike Hughes went on EVA. [00:00:08]: Mike Hughes collided into Terrain. [00:00:08]: Mike Hughes was killed.
  20. I'm guessing Q3 2020 - hopefully the new-studio shakeup hasn't delayed things too much.
  21. Okay, this looks like a pretty cool game. I have many questions... Are you planning on early access? What sort of price are you thinking about? What are the system requirements (i.e, can my potato run it?)? I will be following this
